Netherton Ridings above described, towards the south by the Tahuna Riding above described, and towards the west by the county boundary to the point of commencement.
Ngatea Riding.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, Hauraki Plains County, bounded generally towards the north-west and north by a line commencing at a point where the southern boundary of Section 12 (climatic and forest reserve), Block XI, Piako Survey District, intersects the western boundary of the county; thence proceeding north-easterly along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 12, 6, 7, 8, and 9 of the said Block XI; thence along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 23 and 24 of Block VII of the said survey district; thence along the south-eastern boundary of Waitakaruru No. 5B 2 (6577); thence by a right line to the centre of the Waitakaruru–Maukoro Canal Reserve; thence in a northerly direction down the centre of such canal reserve to a point opposite the southern boundary of Section 48 of Block IV, Piako Survey District; thence in an easterly direction to and along the southern boundaries of Sections 48 and 49 of the said Block IV to and across the Pouarua Road; thence in a northerly direction along the western boundary of Section 5, Block I, Waihou Survey District; thence in an easterly direction along the northern boundary of the said Section 5 of Lot 1 of Section 6; thence in a southerly direction along the eastern boundary of the said Lot 1 to a point opposite the southern boundary of Section 7 of the said block; thence by a right line across the Pipiroa–Ngatea Road to and along the southern boundaries of Section 7 and Sections 8 and 40 of the said block; thence in a northerly direction along the western boundary of Section 10 of said block; and thence easterly along the northern boundary of the said Section 10 to the centre of the Piako River, and on the east by a line proceeding southerly up the centre of the Piako River to the north-eastern corner of Patetonga Riding, and on the south by the Patetonga Riding, and on the west by the county boundary to the point of commencement.
Fipiroa Riding.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, Hauraki Plains County, bounded towards the north by the county boundary, towards the east by a line up the centre of the Piako River, towards the south by the Ngatea Riding, and towards the west by the Waitakaruru Riding to the point of commencement.
Waitakaruru Riding.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, Hauraki Plains County, bounded towards the north by the county boundary commencing at the junction of the northern and western county boundaries, and proceeding easterly to a point midway in the mouth of the Waitakaruru Stream; and thence towards the east by a right line to and along the western boundary of Section 7 of Block X, Wharekawa Survey District; thence in a westerly direction along the northern boundary of the Waitakaruru–Pipiroa Road, and by a right line to the centre of the Waitakaruru–Maukoro Canal; thence in a southerly direction up the centre of the said canal to the north-western corner of the Ngatea Riding; thence towards the east and south-east by the Ngatea Riding boundary, and on the west by the county boundary to the point of commencement.
I hereby certify the foregoing resolution to be a true copy of a special order made by the Hauraki Plains County Council in the manner prescribed by section 99 of the Counties Act, 1920.

Redefining Boundaries of the City of Wellington and the County of Makara.

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 141 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the boundaries of the City of Wellington are hereby defined as set out in the First Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the said city having been altered by Proclamation dated the 21st day of December, 1922, made under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, and published in Gazette No. 2, of the 11th day of January, 1923.
And also, in pursuance of the provisions of the said section 141 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the boundaries of the County of Makara affected by the said Proclamation dated the 21st day of December, 1922, are hereby defined as set out in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF WELLINGTON.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point on high-water mark of Lambton Harbour in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 7, Harbour District; thence to and along the north-eastern boundary of Section 7 aforesaid to the easternmost corner of the area of land contained in certificate of title, Vol. 222, folio 65, and along the southern boundaries generally of that area of land to the north-eastern boundary of Section 7 aforesaid; thence along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of said Section 7 to the north-eastern corner of Section 4, Harbour District; thence along the north-eastern boundary of Section 4 aforesaid to the Wellington–Marton Railway Reserve in Section 5, Porirua; along the eastern boundary of the aforesaid railway reserve to the north-eastern boundary of Section 5, Porirua, along the north-eastern boundary of that section to the south-eastern boundary of Section 107, Ohariu; thence along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Section 107 aforesaid, the south-western boundary of Section 95, Ohariu, to the southernmost corner of Section 94; thence along a right line to the northernmost corner of Section 94 aforesaid and that line produced across the old Ohariu Road, and along the northern side of that road to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Section 93, Ohariu; thence to and along the north-western boundary of Section 93, Ohariu, a right line to the northernmost corner of Section 9, Kaiwarra; along the north-western and south-western boundaries of Section 9, Kaiwarra, to the northernmost corner of Section 7, Kaiwarra; along the north-western and south-western boundaries of the said Section 7 to the northernmost corner of Subdivision I of the Otari Native Reserve; along the north-western boundaries of Subdivisions Nos. I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, and VIII, Otari Reserve, and the south-western boundary of the last-mentioned subdivision and its prolongation to the right bank of the Kaiwarra Stream, and along the right bank of that stream to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of the Otari Native Reserve; thence to and along that boundary and south-westerly along the north-western boundaries of Sections 33, 35, 37, 39, 40, 41, and 42, Karori Registration District, to the eastern side of the Makara Road; thence southerly along that side of the said road and the eastern boundary of that part of Section 42 shown on deposited plan A/1773 to the northern side of the Allington Road; thence south-westerly along that side of the said road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of an area of 14 acres 1 rood 32·7 perches shown on deposited plan A/2539; thence to and along the eastern and south-eastern boundaries of that area, along the north-eastern boundary of Section 53, Karori Registration District; thence along the north-western, south-western, and south-eastern boundaries of Section 54, Karori Registration District, to and along the south-western boundary of Section 45 of the said district; thence along the southern boundaries of that section and Section 47 of the said district and along the eastern boundaries of the said Section 47 and Section 46, along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 55 and 38 of the said Karori Registration District to Part 2 of Section 2, Upper Kaiwarra Registration District; thence south-easterly along the south-western boundary of the said Part 2 of Section 2 to the western boundary of the Waterworks Reserve; thence along the western boundary of that reserve to the northern boundary of Section No. 69, Block X, Port Nicholson Survey District; thence along the northern boundaries of Sections Nos. 69 and 70, the eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 70 and 38, Block X aforesaid, the eastern boundary of Section No. 37, Block XIII, and its production to high-water mark of the sea; thence along high-water mark of Cook Strait, Port Nicholson, and Evans Bay to the eastern boundary of the area described in the Third Schedule to the Wellington City Reclamation and Empowering Act, 1906; thence along the said eastern boundary and high-water mark of Evans Bay to a point on the southern boundary of land reclaimed by the Wellington Patent Slip Company, distant 2434 links south and 10952 links east from Mount Cook Initial Station; thence along lines bearing 117° 24′ distance 206·06 links, bearing 80° 28′ distance 157·58 links, bearing 2° 30′ distance 206·06 links, and bearing 27° 43′ distance 348·5 links (scaled), to high-water mark, and again along high-water mark of Evans Bay to a point on the eastern boundary of another portion of land reclaimed by the said company, distant 1860·7 links south and 11775·16 links east from Mount Cook Initial Station; thence along lines bearing due north distance 460 links, bearing 290° 58′ distance 91·17 links, to high-water mark, and along high-water mark of Evans Bay and Lambton Harbour to the north-eastern boundary of Te Aro Baths; thence along the seaward boundary of the said Te Aro Baths to the north-eastern corner of the land shown on plan marked M.D. 3188, deposited in the office of the Minister of Marine at Wellington;
