Declaring Portion of the Napier-Wairoa Road, in the Wairoa County, to be a County Road.
JELLICOE, Governor-General.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 9th day of March, 1923.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, Wairoa County, known as the Napier-Wairoa Road, commencing at its junction with the Kakariki Road in Section I, Block XI, Mohaka Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction, adjoining or passing through portion of the said Section I, Block XI, Mohaka Survey District, Sections 72, 71, and 34, Block XII, Mohaka Survey District, Sections 30, 19, 18, 8, 5, 4, and 3, Block XIII, Waihua Survey District, and terminating at its junction with the Mohaka River, being a distance of 94 miles, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 5636l, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red and marked B-C.

Declaring Portions of Roads in the Rotoma Loan Block, Whakatane County, to be County Roads.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 9th day of March, 1923.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county roads.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of Matahi Road commencing at its junction with the Manawahe Road, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction, adjoining or passing through part Section 6 (education reserve), Sections 13 and 9, Block VIII, and Section 4, Block XI, Rotoma Survey District, and terminating at its junction with Rendall Road; being a distance of 3 miles 24 chains, more or less; shown coloured yellow on plan and marked D-C-B.
Also all that portion of Rendall Road commencing at its junction with the Manawahe Road, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction, adjoining or passing through Sections 10, 14, and 17, Block VII, Rotoma Survey District, and terminating at its junction with Matahi Road; being a distance of 2 miles 40 chains, more or less; shown coloured yellow on plan and marked A-B.
Also all that portion of McIvor Road commencing at its junction with Matahi Road, and proceeding thence generally in an easterly direction adjoining or passing through Section 13 and part Section 7, Block VIII, Rotoma Survey District, and terminating at a point about 52 chains east of the western boundary of the said Section 7; being a distance of 2 miles, more or less; shown coloured yellow on plan and marked C-E,
All in the Auckland Land District, Whakatane County, Rotoma Loan Block ; as the said portions of roads are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 56420, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Howick Town District not to be Part of County of Manukau.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 9th day of March, 1923.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Governor-General is satisfied that the population of the Howick Town District, in the County of Manukau, exceeds five hundred, and the Town Board of the said Howick Town District has made application that the said town district shall not form part of the County of Manukau, being the county within the boundaries of which it is situated:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Town Boards Amendment Act, 1908 (No. 2), and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that, on and after the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, the Howick Town District shall not form part of the County of Manukau.

Revoking an Order in Council declaring Portion of Shea Road, in the Kawhia County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 9th day of March, 1923.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the Order in Council dated the seventeenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 47, page 1112, of the twentieth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, declaring portion of Shea Road, in the Kawhia County, to be a county road.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Education Act, 1914, and the amendments of that Act, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the amendment set forth in the Schedule hereto in the regulations in force at the date of the making of this Order relating to the examination and classification of teachers; and, with the like advice and
