Authorizing the Kowai County Council to erect an Honours Board in the Council Chambers, Balcairn, as a Permanent War Memorial.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 9th day of March, 1923.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by section fifteen of the Finance Act, 1919 (hereinafter referred to as “the said section”), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve the provision by the Kowai County Council of an honours board as a permanent war memorial, as provided by the said section; and, with the like advice and consent, doth hereby approve of the erection of such honours board in the Council Chambers, Balcairn.

Authorizing the Matamata County Council to erect a Monument at Putaruru as a Permanent War Memorial.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 9th day of March, 1923.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by section fifteen of the Finance Act, 1919 (hereinafter referred to as “the said section”), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the provision by the Matamata County Council of a monument as a permanent war memorial, as provided by the said section; and, with the like advice and consent, doth hereby approve of the erection of such monument in that portion of Putaruru described in the Schedule hereto.

PUTARURU WAR MEMORIAL.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, being part of Section 15, Block X, Patetere North Survey District, containing 1 acre 1 rood, more or less, and known as “Memorial Park.”

Declaring Portion of Mary Street, in the Raglan County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 9th day of March, 1923.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road in the Auckland Land District, Raglan County, known as Mary Street, commencing at its junction with River Road from Huntly to Ngaruawahia on the west side of the Waikato River, in Block XV, Rangiriri Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a westerly direction, and terminating at its junction with Alexandra Street in the said block and survey district; being a distance of 12½ chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 56405, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portion of the Wanganui River Road in the Ohura County to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 9th day of March, 1923.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of the Wanganui River Road (right bank) in the Taranaki Land District, Ohura County, commencing at the northernmost corner of Section 3, Block IV, Heao Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction adjoining or passing through the said Section 3 and Section 1 (scenic reserve), Block IV, Heao Survey District, and terminating at a point on the eastern boundary of the said Section 1 (scenic reserve), Block IV, Heao Survey District, being a distance of one mile seventeen chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 56432, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Shea Road, in the Raglan County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 9th day of March, 1923.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that road in the Auckland Land District, Raglan County, commencing at its junction with the Waitetuna-Aotea Road, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction, adjoining or passing through part Section 1 (forest reserve) and Sections 7 and 10, Block X, Karioi Survey District, and terminating at the southernmost corner of the said Section 10; being a distance of 3 miles 10 chains, more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 56395, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
