Result of Poll for Proposed Loan.

THE following notice, received from the Chairman of the
Council of the County of Raglan, is published in
accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans
Act, 1913.

RAGLAN COUNTY COUNCIL.

Loan of £650 for metalling Te Pahu Road.

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 12 of the Local Bodies’
Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that the following is
the result of a poll of the ratepayers of the Te Pahu Special
Rating District taken on the 10th day of February, 1923,
on the proposal to borrow the sum of £650 for the purpose
of metalling the Te Pahu Road : Total number of valid votes
recorded, 24; for the proposal, 9; against the proposal, 15.
The total number of valid votes recorded in favour of the
proposal not being three-fifths of the total number of valid
votes recorded, I hereby declare the proposal to be lost.
