Primary-education Endowment Land in the Village of Drury, North Auckland Land District, set apart as an Addition to a Site for a Public School.

JELLICOE, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by section five of the Education Reserves Amendment Act, 1911, it is enacted that the Governor-General may, on the recommendation of the Land Board of the district in which are situated any reserves or endowments vested in the Crown by or in pursuance of section two of the Education Reserves Amendment Act, 1910, set apart as sites for public schools, secondary schools, or technical schools any part of such reserves or endowments :
And whereas the Land Board of the North Auckland Land District has duly passed a resolution recommending that the portion of the primary-education endowment described in the Schedule hereto should be set apart as an addition to a site for a public school, and it is expedient to give effect to such recommendation :
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Acts aforesaid, do hereby set apart the portion of the primary-education endowment described in the Schedule hereto as an addition to a site for a public school.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 0 roods 8 perches, more or less, being Lots 69, 70, and 71 (part of Original Section 8), Village of Drury. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 6/6/273, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 15th day of February, 1923.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, situated in the Borough of Palmerston North, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 24 perches, more or less, being part Lot 10 on D.P. 495, and being part of Section 299, Town of Palmerston North, and also Lot 2 on D.P. 206, and being part of Section 300 of the said Town of Palmerston North, Blocks X and XI, Kairanga Survey District. As the same is delineated on plan numbered 257/7, deposited in the Wellington District Office of the Department of Lands and Survey, and thereon bordered red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 15th day of February, 1923.

Warrant apportioning the Cost of maintaining Portion of the Rocks or Main Road in the City of Nelson and the Town District of Tahunanui.

JELLICOE, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in that behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby direct that the cost of maintaining the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto, whether heretofore incurred since the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, or hereafter to be incurred, shall be provided and paid by the Nelson City Council, the Waimea County Council, the Tahunanui Town Board, the Richmond Borough Council, and the Motueka Borough Council in the following proportions—viz., the Nelson City Council shall pay thirty-three (33) per centum, the Waimea County Council shall pay thirty-three (33) per centum, the Tahunanui Town Board shall pay twenty (20) per centum, the Richmond Borough Council shall pay seven (7) per centum, and the Motueka Borough Council shall pay seven (7) per centum of such cost respectively.
And I do hereby further direct that any contribution hereby required to be made as aforesaid by the Waimea County Council, the Tahunanui Town Board, the Richmond Borough Council, and the Motueka Borough Council shall be paid from time to time, in the proportions hereinbefore prescribed, to the Nelson City Council, out of the funds of the said Councils and Board, within a period of one month after demand in writing made by or on behalf of the Nelson City Council, and such payments shall be made from time to time to the Town Clerk, Nelson, for and on behalf of the said Councils and Board.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of the Rocks or Main Road situated in the Nelson Land District, commencing at the intersection of Richardson Street in the City of Nelson, and extending generally in a south-westerly direction through portion of the City of Nelson and portion of the Town District of Tahunanui to the end of the sea-wall at the junction of Beach Road and Annesbrook Road in the Town District of Tahunanui. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 54195, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured burnt sienna.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 20th day of February, 1923.

Appointment of Examiners under the Nurses Registration Act, 1908.—(H. 68.)

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Nurses Registration Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the following persons to be examiners for the purposes of the above Act, and prescribe the undermentioned fees to be paid to the examiners so appointed for the performance of such duties :—
Medical Practitioner Examiner.
H. Douglas, M.B., M.S., Edin., 1896. Hamilton.
Nurse Examiners.
Miss Florence Alford Adams, R.N. Timaru.
Mrs. Ethel Spear, R.N. Nelson.
Miss Winifred Eva Lancaster, R.N. Dunedin.
Remuneration.
The remuneration for such examiners to be at the rate of :—
Medical Practitioner: Five guineas for setting and correcting papers for not more than twenty nurses, with one guinea for every ten or less number in excess of that number; for the practical and oral examination, half a guinea for each candidate.
Nurses: A minimum fee of one guinea for not more than four candidates, and five shillings for each candidate in excess of that number.
