SECTION 1, Block VI : Area, 451 acres ; capital value, £180 ;
half-yearly rent, £3 12s.
Situated on the south bank of the Mokihinui River fifteen
miles from its mouth. Access is from Seddonville by two
miles of dray-road and nine miles of track. Twenty acres
of flat land, balance steep hills. Soil fair along river, poor
on hills, resting on papa formation. Forest is heavy, consisting of mixed birch and rimu, with dense undergrowth of
five-finger, birch, and broadleaf. Well watered. Elevation,
600 ft. to 2,000 ft. above sea-level.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 14th day of December, 1922.

I N pursuance and exercise of the power and authority
vested in me by the Public Works Amendment Act,
1909, and the Public Works Amendment Act, 1910, and of
all other powers and authorities in anyway enabling me in
this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby direct
that the streets and portions of streets lying along the boundary between the Borough of Ashburton and the Wakanui
Road District, and mentioned in the Schedule hereto, shall

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of
every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in
this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke
the Warrant dated the thirty-first day of July, one thousand
nine hundred and six, and published in the New Zealand
Gazette No. 65, of the second day of August, one thousand
nine hundred and six, apportioning the cost of maintaining
Beach Road, Wakanui Road, East Street, and Bridge Street
within Hampstead Town District, and Wakanui Road, Smithfield Road, Milton Road, and Trevors Road within Wakanui
Road District.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 16th day of December, 1922.

Marlborough Branding Registration District abolished and New
Branding Registration District constituted in lieu thereof. Notice No. 2236.

WHEREAS it is expedient that the Marlborough
Branding Registration District as at present constituted should be abolished, and that a new branding registration district as described in the Schedule hereto should be
constituted in lieu thereof:
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pur-suance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in
me by the Stock Act, 1908, do hereby abolish the Marlborough
Branding Registration District as at present constituted, and
do hereby constitute in lieu thereof the branding registration
