seventeenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 63, of the twenty-fourth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, taking land for a further portion of the North Auckland Main Trunk Railway, portions of Mare-retu and Waikiekie Sections, and for road-diversions in connection therewith, as affects the areas of land described in the Schedule hereto, such portions of land having been incorrectly described.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of a further portion of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway from Athenree to Wairoa River—namely, portion of Katikati Section and Aongatete, Apata, and Te Puna Sections, shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point in Section 13, Tahawai Parish, Block IX, Katikati Survey District, marked 17 miles, which point is also the termination of the railway described in a Proclamation dated the 20th day of December, 1922, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 21st day of December, 1922, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 18 miles 22·5 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz., Sections 13 and 12, Tahawai Parish, Block IX, Katikati Survey District; part Lot 12 and Section 14, Tahawai Parish, Blocks IX, Katikati, and II, Aongatete Survey Districts; and Section 15, Tahawai Parish, Block II, Aongatete Survey District; Lot 1 of Section 57, Sections 48, 52, 44, 37, 35, and 33, Te Mania Parish, Block II, Aongatete Survey District; Sections 149, 148, 147, 214, 173, 174, 177, 178, 180, 188, 189, 226, 134, 211, 203, 212, 217 E.R., 219, 218 E.R., 217 E.R., 210, and 8, Apata Parish, Blocks II, V, and VI, Aongatete Survey District; Tauranga Harbour, Sections 6s, 3s, and 5s, Apata Settlement, Blocks VI, Aongatete, and IV, Tauranga Survey Districts; Sections 56, 190, 57, 58, 59, 60, Lot 6 of Allotment 91, 54, 55, 63, 224, 223, 210, 4, 6, 9, 12, 10, 165, 185, 166, 178, 166, Te Puna Parish, Blocks IV, VIII, and IX, Tauranga Survey District; thence across the Wairoa River to a point in Section 453, Te Papa Parish, Block IX, Tauranga Survey District, marked 35 miles 22·5 chains, which point is the commencement of the railway described in the Proclamation dated the 8th day of June, 1915, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 17th day of June, 1915: including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses.
All in the Auckland Land District; as the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 55902 (sheets 2 to 5), deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.

Altering the Middle-line of a Portion of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway from Athenree to Wairoa River—namely, Portion of Katikati Section.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in any-wise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of the Schedule to the Proclamation dated the eighth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 58, of the tenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, as defines the middle-line of a further portion of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway (from Athenree to Wairoa River) between the points marked 12 miles 29 chains 35·15 links and 17 miles, as shown on the plan numbered P.W.D. 48518 (sheets 1 and 2) referred to in such Proclamation; and in lieu thereof do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of the said portion of railway, commencing at the said points marked 12 miles 29 chains 35·15 links and terminating at 17 miles, shall be as defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

COMMENCING at a point in Section 25, Tahawai Parish, Block V, Katikati Survey District, opposite the angle of the road adjoining Section 18 of the said Section 25, Tahawai Parish, marked 12 miles 29 chains 35·15 links, on the line of railway defined by Proclamation dated the 8th day of June, 1920, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 58, of the 10th day of June, 1920, and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction for a distance of 4 miles 50 chains 64·85 links, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, &c.—viz., Sections 25, 28, 32, Lots 2, 3, and 4 of Section 33, Sections 20, 50, and 52, Tahawai Parish; and Allotments 78, 61, 62, 63, 57, 56, 55, 54, 48, 49, 50, 51, 34, 144, 145, 156, 155, and 161 of the Township of Waterford, being subdivisions of Section 52, Tahawai Parish; Sections 53, 54, Lot 2 of Section 48, and Sections 56 and 13, Tahawai Parish; all in Blocks V and IX, Katikati Survey District; and terminating at a point in the said Section 13, Tahawai Parish, marked 17 miles: including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses.
