construction of tanks, laying pipes, and all other matters
incidental to the provisions of such drainage scheme, the said
Northcote Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of two shillings and one farthing (2s. 0½d.) in the pound
(£1) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the
special rating area comprising all that part of the Borough
of Northcote to the south of the northern boundary of Allot-
ment 7, Lots 13 and 16 of Allotment 10, Lots 1, 2, and 3 of
Allotment 14, and Allotment 18 of the Parish of Takapuna;
and that such rate shall be an annually recurring rate during
the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first
day of July in each and every year during the currency of
such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years,
or until the loan is fully paid off.

BOROUGH OF NORTHCOTE.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the
Northcote Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:-
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of five thousand pounds (£5,000), authorized
to be raised by the Northcote Borough Council, under the
above-mentioned Act, for financially assisting ratepayers (by
way of loan) to install drainage connections to their respective
properties, the said Northcote Borough Council hereby makes
and levies a special rate of fourpence (4d.) in the pound (£1)
upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the special
rating area comprising all that part of the Borough of North-
cote to the south of the northern boundaries of Allotment 7,
Lots 13 and 16 of Allotment 10, Lots 1, 2, and 3 of Allot-
ment 14, and Allotment 18 of the Parish of Takapuna; and
that such rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first
day of July in each and every year during the currency of
such loan, being a period of ten (10) years, or until the loan
is fully paid off.

BOROUGH OF NORTHCOTE.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the
Northcote Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:-
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of three thousand two hundred and fifty
pounds (£3,250), authorized to be raised by the Northcote
Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the
extension of the water-mains, reticulation, and increase of
the pumping plant in connection with the water-supply to
the Borough of Northcote, the said Northcote Borough
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence
three-farthings (2¾d.) in the pound (£1) upon the rateable
value of all rateable property of the whole of the Borough
of Northcote; and that such special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be pay-
able yearly on the first day of July in each and every year
during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-
six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

SUMNER BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.-LOAN OF £1,000.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the
Sumner Borough Council resolves as follows:-
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of one thousand pounds, authorized to be
raised by the Sumner Borough Council, under the above-
mentioned Act, for the purpose of erecting a building suit-
able for a worker's dwelling, the said the Sumner Borough
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of fifty-three
thousandths of a penny (0.053d.) in the pound upon the
rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the
Borough of Sumner; and that such special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and
be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every
year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-
six and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it
in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913,
the Piako County Council hereby resolves as follows :-
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in
respect of principal and interest and also the other charges
on a loan of £500, authorized to be raised by the Piako County
Council, under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, for the
purpose of metalling for the first time about 60 chains of
Horrell's Road, the said Piako County Council hereby makes
and levies a special rate of one penny and one-eighth of a
penny (1¼d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all
rateable properties in the Horrell's Road Special Rating
Area, comprising pt. Maungatapu, D.P. 13138, containing
46 acres ; pt. Lot 10, 53 acres, Lot 7, 52 acres, Lot 9, 95
acres, and pt. Lot 12, 70 acres, all shown on D.P. 13350,
Maungatapu ; and pt. Maungatapu 1303, 110 acres ; Blocks
II and III, Maungakawa S.D.
And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly
on the first day of April in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a
half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION.
THE following regulations were laid before the members
of the Pakuranga Hunt (Incorporated) at a meeting
held on the 17th day of November, 1922, at Auckland, with
a recommendation by the Chairman of such club, Mr. H.
Bullock-Webster, that the same be passed at once with a
view to their approval by His Excellency the Governor-
General, in pursuance of the Gaming Act, 1908, section 33.
Mr. H. Bullock-Webster, the Chairman of such club and
the meeting, moved, and Mr. H. R. Mackenzie seconded,
and it was resolved, that such regulations should be adopted,
and that the Chairman and Secretary be authorized to sign
the same in authentication thereof.
The following are the regulations referred to.
PAKURANGA HUNT (INCORPORATED).
REGULATIONS.
(Under the Gaming Act, 1918.)
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers in that behalf con-
tained in section 33 of the Gaming Act, 1908, and of all
other powers and authorities it enabling in that behalf, the
Pakuranga Hunt (Incorporated), a racing club within the
meaning of the said Act (hereinafter referred to as "the said
club"), doth hereby revoke the regulations dated the 29th
day of October, 1921, and in lieu thereof doth hereby make
