All that portion of the Mackenzie County bounded as follows: Commencing at a point in the North Opuha River at the north-eastern corner of Section 1A, Sherwood Downs Settlement, and bounded by part of the south-western boundary of Section 4A, the south-eastern boundary of Section 13A, the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Section 17A, and the south-eastern boundary of Section 20A, Sherwood Downs Settlement, to the South Opuha River; thence by the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 1A and 2, Ashwick Settlement, to the Opihi River; thence by the eastern boundaries of Sections 36085 and 36086, Block I, Tengawai Survey District, Small Grazing-run 86, Section 36088, Block 5, Tengawai Survey District, Small Grazing-runs 49, 50, 51, to the Tengawai River; thence along the Tengawai River and the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Small Grazing-run 54, again to the Tengawai River; thence by the Mackenzie Stream and Lockhart’s Creek to the north-eastern corner of Rural Section 36466, Block 16, Burke’s Survey District; thence by the north-eastern boundaries of said Section 36466, Section 36467, Block 4, Mackenzie Survey District, by part of the western and the north-eastern boundaries of Section 36059, Block I, Opawa Survey District, and by the north-eastern boundaries of Small Grazing-runs 5, 1, 2, 6, 4, Chamberlain Settlement, to the Opawa River; thence along the Opawa River to the north-eastern corner of Section 1, Mount Nessing Settlement; then by the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 1, 2, 8, 10, 11, Mount Nessing Settlement, to the Pareora River; thence towards the south-west, north, and east by the Waimate, Waitaki, Westland, Ashburton, and Geraldine Counties respectively to the Opuha River; thence by the Opuha and North Opuha Rivers to the commencing-point at the north-eastern corner of Section 1A, Sherwood Downs.

All that portion of the Waimate County bounded as follows: Commencing at a point where the traffic-bridge crosses the Waihao River at Waihao Forks; thence up-stream by the Waihao River to the Waihao Downs Road at the north-eastern corner of Rural Section 20185; thence by the Waihao Downs Road and the northern boundaries of Rural Sections 20185, 18960, 20508, 14585, to the junction of the Shearers’ Hill Deviation Road; thence by the Shearers’ Hill Deviation Road and Shearers’ Hill Road to the Middle Road; thence by the road on the western boundary of Lot 3, Waikakahi Settlement, Rural Section 20141, to the Redcliffs Road; thence westerly along Redcliffs Road to the north-western boundary of Lot 11, Reserve 191; thence by the western and southern boundaries of Lot 11, Reserve 191, to the western boundary of Lot 16, Reserve 191; thence by the western boundary of Lot 16, Reserve 191, in a direct line to the county boundary in the Waitaki River; thence by the county boundary in the Waitaki River in a north-westerly direction to the boundary-line between the Waimate and Mackenzie Counties; thence generally along the north-western and northern boundaries of the Waimate County to the Waihao River; thence in a southerly direction by the Waihao River and the western boundaries of the Upper Pareora, Otaio, Makikihi, and Deep Creek Ridings of the Waimate County to the point of commencement.
FOURTH SCHEDULE.
ALL that area comprising those portions of the counties of Waimate, Mackenzie, and Geraldine not included in the South Canterbury Electric-power District as described in the Second Schedule.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred by section three of the Electric-power Boards Act, 1918, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the district described in the First Schedule hereto to be an electric-power district, and I hereby assign to such district the name of the “Grey Electric-power District”; and I do further proclaim that the area described in the Second Schedule hereto shall be an outer area of such electric-power district.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
GREY ELECTRIC-POWER DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Westland Land District commencing on the sea-coast at the mouth of the Ten-mile Creek, Block II, Te Miko Survey District, and continues along said creek to its source at the summit of the Paparoa Range to Trig. L; thence along the summit of the said range to a Trig. G at the source of the Moonlight Creek, continuing down the said creek to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 11, Block XII, Waiwhero Survey District; thence to the south-western corner of the said section; thence in a northerly direction along the western boundary of Sections 11 and 12, eastward along the northern boundary of Section 12, thence along the western boundary of Sections 15 and 16; thence along the northern boundary of Section 16 to the Big River; thence down the said river to a point in line with the northern boundary of Section 3021, Block XII, Waiwhero Survey District, continuing along the said boundary to the north-east corner of the said section; thence by a right line to the north-western corner of Section 2762, Block IX, Mawheraiti Survey District; thence along the north-western boundary of the said section to the Craigieburn River; thence down the said river to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Section 3, Block IX, Mawheraiti Survey District; thence in a north-easterly direction along the north-western boundaries of Sections 3 and 257, Block IX, Mawheraiti Survey District, and Sections 180, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 28, and 29, Block X, of the said survey district, continuing on same bearing to a point on the western bank of the Rough River; thence following the said river to its confluence with the Grey River, thence across the said river to the south bank, continuing up the river-bank till a point is reached due north of the said north-east corner of Section 5, Block IV, Ahaura Survey District; thence along the eastern and southern boundaries of Section 5 to the intersection with Section 6; thence following the southern boundaries of Sections 6 and 7 to the southern corner of Section 7; thence along the south-western boundaries of Sections 7, 8, 9, and 10, continuing on till a point on the Waipuna Creek is reached, thence down the said creek to the confluence with Nobles Creek, thence up the said creek to its source on Napoleon Hill, thence following track and road in a westerly direction through Orwell Creek Township till the north-western corner of Section 107, Block II, Ahaura Survey District, is reached; thence in a southerly direction following the road along the eastern boundary of Sections 106 and 11 till the Ahaura River is reached; thence up the said river to a point due north of Trig. I, Block VI, Ahaura Survey District; thence to Trig. I; thence by a right line to Trig. A, Block X, of the said survey district; thence by a right line to the south-eastern corner of Section 1, Block 13, of the said survey district; thence by a right line to the intersection of Kotuku–Bell Hill Road and Grey Valley–Taramakau Road, continuing in a southerly direction along the said road to the intersection with the north-eastern boundary of part of Subdivision I, Block XI, Te Kinga Survey District; thence along the said boundary to the eastern corner thereof; thence in a south-westerly direction generally following the south-eastern boundary of said subdivision, Subdivision 6 in the said block and survey district, and Section 21, Block X, of the said survey district; thence along the north-eastern, south-eastern, and south-western boundaries of Section 2852, Blocks XI and XV, Te Kinga Survey District; thence in a south-westerly direction along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 18 and 17, Block X, of the said survey district, part Subdivision I, Blocks XIV and XIII, of the said survey district, and part Section 868, Block I, Otira Survey District; along the western boundary of Sections 2208 and 2311, Block I, of the said survey district till a point on the northern bank of the Taramakau River is reached, thence following the said bank to the sea-coast, thence northward along the sea-coast to the point of commencement. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked P.W.D. 55566, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered green.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
OUTER AREA.
ALL that area in the Westland Land District commencing at the mouth of the Ten-mile Creek on the sea-coast, Block II, Te Miko Survey District, continuing along the sea-coast in a northerly direction to the mouth of the Punakaiki River, thence following the boundary between the Buller and Grey counties to the intersecting point of the boundaries of the said counties and the Inangahua County; thence following the boundary between the Grey and Inangahua counties till a point of intersection with the area described in the First Schedule is reached on the western bank of the Rough River, Block X, Mawheraiti Survey District; thence following in a westerly direction generally the northern boundary of the
