THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
Church Street Special Rating District of the Borough of Whangarei contained within the following boundaries,—
Commencing at the north-west corner of Church Street and Kamo Road, bounded on the west by Kamo Road, 30 links ; on the north by Lot 2, 220 links; thence on the east by part 22, 20 links ; then on the north-east by part Lot 23, 220 links ; thence on the south by Church Street, 400 links, to the point of commencement. Again starting at the south-west corner of Church Street and Kamo Road, bounded on the north by Church Street, 330 links ; thence on the east by Mill Road, 100 links ; thence on the south by part Anglican Church property, 300 links ; thence on the west by Kamo Road, 100 links, to the point of commencement.
And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WHANGAREI BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.—LOWER CAMERON STREET SPECIAL RATING DISTRICT.
N pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Whangarei Borough Empowering Act, 1918, and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Whangarei Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :— That, for the purpose of providing one-half the interest and other charges on a loan of £840, authorized to be raised by the Whangarei Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of forming and constructing Lower Cameron Street of the Borough of Whangarei, the said Whangarei Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1½d. (one penny halfpenny) in the pound [such special rate to be in addition to the special rate of 1d. (one penny) in the pound made at a meeting of the Whangarei Borough Council held on the 12th day of September, 1921] on the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the Lower Cameron Street Special Rating District of the Borough of Whangarei contained within the following boundaries,— Starting at the north-east corner of Lower Cameron Street and Walton Street ; thence east by two chains to a point at the intersection of Lots 1 and 4; thence bounded on the north-east by Lots 4 to 15 inclusive, 590 links ; thence by the south-west portion Lot 17, 150 links ; thence on the south-west by Lower Cameron Street, 800 links, to the point of commencement. Again starting at the north-east intersection of Carruth Street and Cameron Street, bounded by the north portion of Lot 30, 160 links ; on the north-east by Lots 2–13 inclusive, 630 links ; on the south-east by the Waiarohia River, 200 links ; on the south-west by Lower Cameron Street, 820 links, to the point of commencement. Again starting at the south-east corner of Lower Cameron Street and Walton Street, bounded by the west portion of Lot 1, 120 links ; thence on the west by Lot 2, 50 links ; thence on the south by Lots 8–24 inclusive, 850 links ; thence by the south-east portion Lot 26, 160 links ; thence on the north-east by Lower Cameron Street, 1030 links, to the point of commencement. Again starting at the north corner of Lot 183, bounded by the west portion of the said Lot 183 by lines 200 links and 140 links to the junction of the side north-east with Clyde Street with the Waiarohia River ; thence by the said river approximately 850 links to the south-east corner of Lower Cameron Street ; thence on the north-east by Lower Cameron Street, 800 links, to the point of commencement.
And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Whangarei Borough Empowering Act, 1918, and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Whangarei Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :— That, for the purpose of providing one-half the interest and other charges on a loan of £650, authorized to be raised by the Whangarei Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of forming and constructing Park Avenue of the Borough of Whangarei, the said Whangarei Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 5d. (fivepence) in the pound on the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the Park Avenue Special Rating District of the Borough of Whangarei contained within the following boundaries,— Starting at the south-west corner of Park Avenue and Kensington Avenue, bounded on the north-east by Park Avenue, 1000 links ; thence on the north by part Allotment One, Parish of Whangarei, 300 links ; thence on the west by part of the said Allotment One, 640 links, 110 links, 130 links, 140 links ; thence on the south by part Lot 17 and Lots 16–13 inclusive, 340 links ; thence on the south-west by part Lot 12, 220 links, to the point of commencement. Again starting at the south-east corner of Park Avenue and Kensington Avenue, bounded on the west by Park Avenue, 1050 links ; thence on the south by Park Avenue, 110 links ; thence on the west by part Allotment Two, Parish of Whangarei, 300 links ; thence on the north by part of the said Allotment Two, 110 links ; thence on the east by part of the said Allotment Two, 300 links ; thence on the north by part of the said Allotment Two, 350 links, to the railway ; thence on the east by the railway reserve, 650 links ; thence on the south by Lots 1, 2, and 3, 220 links ; and thence on the south-east by part Lot 4, 220 links, to the point of commencement.
And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

N pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Whangarei Borough Empowering Act, 1918, and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Whangarei Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :— That, for the purpose of providing one-half the interest and other charges on a loan of £320, authorized to be raised by the Whangarei Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of forming and constructing First Avenue of the Borough of Whangarei, the said Whangarei Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 2d. (twopence) in the pound on the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the First Avenue Special Rating District of the Borough of Whangarei contained within the following boundaries,— Starting at the north-west corner of First Avenue, bounded on the south-west by part Lot 168, 80 links, to the Waiarohia River ; thence on the north-east by the said Waiarohia River, approximately 350 links ; thence on the north-west by part Lot 168, 120 links, and Lots 69–62 inclusive, 800 links ; thence on the south-west by part Lot 80, 250 links ; thence on the north-east by First Avenue, 750 links, to the point of commencement. Again starting at the north-east corner of First Avenue, bounded on the south-west by First Avenue, 100 links ; thence on the north-west by part Lot 168, 80 links, to the Waiarohia River ; thence on the north-east by the said river, approximately 350 links ; thence on the south-east by part Lot 168, 60 links, and Lots 13–16 inclusive, 400 links ; on the south by part Lot 17, 30 links ; on the south-east by the said Lot 17, 100 links ; thence on the south by part Lot 19, 230 links ; thence on the north-west by First Avenue, 700 links, to the point of commencement.
And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
