IN accordance with the provisions of section 5 of the Water-supply Amendment Act, 1913, it is hereby notified that the Vincent County Council has duly appointed the following to be members of the Bannockburn Water-supply Managing Ratepayers Committee, and that it has conferred on such Committee all the powers of management it possesses in respect of all water-races supplying the Bannock-burn Water-supply Irrigation Area, namely:-

HAMILTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Local Bodies' Finance Act, 1921-22, and all other powers (if any) in that behalf, the Hamilton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :
That, for the purpose of providing the payments in respect of interest and sinking fund on a loan of £22,113 16s. 5d., authorized to be raised by the Hamilton Borough Council, under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and the Local Bodies' Finance Act, 1921-22, for the purpose of extinguishing the antecedent liability of the Hamilton Borough Council as defined in the Local Bodies' Finance Act, 1921-22, the said Hamilton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅓d. (one-third of a penny) in the pound upon the rateable value (unimproved) of all rateable property in the Borough of Hamilton; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period not exceeding 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

HAMILTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Hamilton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :-
That, for the purpose of providing the payments in respect of interest and sinking fund on a loan of £12,000, authorized to be raised by the Hamilton Borough Council, under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, for the purchase, construction, erection, and fitting of electric lines, machinery, lamps, meters, fittings, and appliances for distributing and measuring electricity and for supplying electricity to consumers, and for the purposes of the Council and for lighting streets, the said Hamilton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/7d. (one-seventh of a penny) in the pound upon the rateable value (unimproved) of all rateable property of the Borough of Hamilton; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period not exceeding 35 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

OTAKI BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Otaki Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :-
That, for the purpose of providing the instalment in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of twenty-two thousand pounds (£22,000), authorized to be raised by the Otaki Borough Council, under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of waterworks, the said Otaki Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence in the pound (2d. in the £) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the said borough, comprising the whole of the Borough of Otaki; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of February and the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off, and that the seal of the Council be affixed to a copy to be forwarded to the State Advances Office.

WHANGAREI BOROUGH COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.-CHURCH STREET SPECIAL RATING DISTRICT.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Whangarei Borough Empowering Act, 1918, and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Whangarei Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :-
That, for the purpose of providing one-half the interest and other charges on a loan of £200, authorized to be raised by the Whangarei Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of forming and constructing Church Street of the Borough of Whangarei, the said Whangarei Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 10¼d. (tenpence halfpenny) in the pound on the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the
