MASTERTON COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Masterton County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of five thousand pounds, authorized to be raised by the Masterton County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of providing the Masterton County Council’s share of the cost of completing bridges over the Taueru River and Rorokoko Stream at Taueru and Rorokoko, known as the Taueru Traffic-bridge and the Rorokoko Traffic-bridge, both bridges being on the Masterton–Waimata Road, the said Masterton County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one fifty-sixth of a penny in the pound upon the capital rateable value of all the rateable property of the County of Masterton; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate, and payable half-yearly on the first days of February and August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being for a period of thirty-six and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

CASTLECLIFF TOWN BOARD.
THE WATER AND DRAINAGE LOAN NO. 2.
IN pursuance of and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Castlecliff Town Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments or payments from time to time due or to become due in respect of principal and interest and all other charges in connection with the loan of £20,000 (known as the Water and Drainage Loan No. 2) which the Castlecliff Town Board is authorized to raise under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, in order
(a.) To complete and carry out the water and drainage system at present being established in the Castlecliff Town District;
(b.) To extend the said water and drainage system by establishing same in such further and other streets and roads in the town district as the Board may determine;
(c.) To provide and pay for all appliances, plant, material, fittings, connections, things, and labour necessary for the completion and extension of the said water and drainage system and for the efficient working and use of same and incidental thereto;
the Castlecliff Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 13/16d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Castlecliff Town District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until such loan is fully paid off.

BOROUGH OF OTAHUHU.
WATERWORKS EXTENSION LOAN OF £4,150.—RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Otahuhu Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £4,150, authorized to be raised by the Otahuhu Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for waterworks extension works, the said Otahuhu Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 18/64ths (eighteen sixty-fourths) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the rating district comprising the whole of the Borough of Otahuhu; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 31st day of March and the 30th day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

BOROUGH OF OTAHUHU.
WORKER’S DWELLING LOAN OF £1,100.—RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Otahuhu Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,100, authorized to be raised by the Otahuhu Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, and Part XXXVII of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, for the purpose of erecting a worker’s dwelling, the said Otahuhu Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 17/256ths (seventeen two-hundred-and-fifty-sixths) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the rating district comprising the whole of the Borough of Otahuhu; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 31st day of March and the 30th day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

MANGAPAPA TOWN BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Mangapapa Town Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,500, authorized to be raised by the Mangapapa Town Board, under section 29 of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1920, for the purpose of reducing the said Board’s Bank overdraft, the said Mangapapa Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/6th of one penny in the £1 upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Mangapapa Town Board, comprising the Mangapapa Town Board District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the thirtieth (30th) day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

MANGAHOE DRAINAGE BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE FOR PAYMENT OF INTEREST AND SINKING FUND ON SPECIAL LOAN OF £2,000.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Mangahoe Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of two thousand pounds, authorized to be raised by the Mangahoe Drainage Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of deepening, widening, clearing, straightening, diverting, and otherwise generally improving the Mangahoe Stream, the said Mangahoe Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound on the capital rateable value of all lands classed “A,” ¾d. in the pound on the capital rateable value of all lands classed “B,” and ¾d. in the pound on the capital rateable value of all lands classed “C,” comprising the whole of the rateable property of the Mangahoe Drainage Board; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and payable yearly on the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
