and Subdivisions A and D, Mangaohane Block, on the north-
east by the Wellington - Hawke's Bay Land District boundary,
on the south-east by Subdivision ID A, Awarua Block, and
on the south-west by a right line being the prolongation of
the south-western boundary of Aorangi Block.

As the same is delineated on forest atlas No. 072, deposited
in the Head Office, State Forest Service, at Wellington, and
thereon coloured green.

Provisional State Forest No. 76.

All that area of Crown land, containing by admeasurement
803 acres, more or less, being Sections 18, 21, 22, and 24,
Block I, Umutoi Survey District.

Provisional State Forest No. 77.

All that area of Crown land, containing by admeasurement
646 acres, more or less, being Sections 2 and 3, Block VIII,
umutoi Survey District.

Provisional State Forest No. 78.

All that area of Crown land, containing 31,600 acres, more
or less, being part of Subdivision IB, Awarua Block, situated
in Block XV, Pukeokahu Survey District, and Blocks II, III,
IV, VI, VII, VIII, X, XI, XII, and XV, Ruahine Survey
District. Bounded on the north by Subdivision ID A,
Awarua Block; on the east by the Wellington - Hawke's
Bay Land District boundary; on the south by Awarua
Subdivision IA No. 3 North Block, Section 1, Block X,
aforesaid, and the Hikurangi Stream; towards the west by
the western boundary - line of part Section 3 (unselected
Crown land), Block X, aforesaid; thence by Rocky Creek,
the Kawhatau River, Section 2, Block VI, Sections 2 and 2A,
Block II, Ruahine Survey District, and Sections 2 and 1,
Block XIV, Pukeokahu Survey District.

As the same are delineated on forest atlas No. 078,
deposited in the Head Office, State Forest Service, at
Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Provisional State Forest No. 79.

All that area of Crown land, containing by admeasurement
669 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Section 4, Block XV,
Pohangina Survey District.

Also all that area of Crown land, containing by admeasure-
ment 403 acres, more or less, being Sections 1, 2, 3, and 4,
Block VII, Gorge Survey District.

As the same are delineated on forest atlas No. 082, deposited
in the Head Office, State Forest Service, at Wellington, and
thereon coloured green.

Provisional State Forest No. 80.

All that area of Crown land, containing by admeasurement
4,100 acres, more or less, being part of the Piripiri Block,
situated in Blocks X, XI, XII, and XIII, Umutoi Survey
District. Bounded towards the north-east by Te Ohu Block,
and on the south-east by the Wellington - Hawke's Bay Land
District boundary, on the south by Umutaoroa Block (State
forest), and the north-west by Pohangina River, Sections 27
and 32, Block X, Umutoi Survey District, and Norsewood
Road.

As the same is delineated on forest altas No. 083, deposited
in the Head Office, State Forest Service, at Wellington, and
thereon coloured green.

Provisional State Forest No. 81.

All that area of Crown land, containing by admeasurement
1,080 acres, more or less, being Subdivision 6A, Horowhenua
Block, situated in Block VI, Waiopuhu Survey District.

As the same is delineated on forest atlas No. 085, deposited
in the Head Office, State Forest Service, at Wellington, and
thereon coloured green.

Provisional State Forest Part No. 82.

All that area of Crown land, containing 5,200 acres, more
or less, situated in Blocks VIII, IX, X, XII, and XIII,
Tararua Survey District. Bounded towards the north by
Sections 11, 10, 5, 4, 8, and 2, Block IX, 35, 36, and 37,
Block X, aforesaid; on the east and south-east by Sections
24, 41, 39, 33 (E.R.), and 40, Block X, 29, 30, 32, and 34,
Block XIV, 2 and 3 (water-supply reserve), Block XIII,
aforesaid, and on the south and west by State forest de-
scribed in New Zealand Gazette No. 5, of 18th January, 1900,
page 104.

As the same is delineated on forest atlas No. 086, deposited
in the Head Office, State Forest Service, at Wellington, and
thereon coloured green.

Provisional State Forest Part No. 82.

All that area of Crown land, containing by admeasurement
9,400 acres, more or less, situated in Block XIII, Tararua
Survey District, and Blocks II, III, VI, VII, and X, Mikimiki
Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Sections 3
(water-supply reserve) and 1, Block XIII, aforesaid; towards
the east generally by Sections 31 and 6, Block XIV, Tararua
Survey District, Section 9, Block IV, the Ruamahanga River,
Sections 1, Block III, 15 and 13, Block IV, 81, 82, 83, the
Kiriwhakapapa Road, Sections 79 and 1 (E.R.), Block VII,
the Mikimiki Road, Sections 7 and 4, Block XI, Mikimiki
Survey District; towards the south by Section 5, Block XI,
Sections 6, 5, 7, and 3, Block X, Mikimiki Survey District;
and towards the west by State forest described in New Zea-
land Gazette No. 5, of 18th January, 1900, page 104.

As the same is delineated on forest atlases Nos. 086 and
090, deposited in the Head Office, State Forest Service, at
Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government
House at Wellington, this 24th day of May, 1922.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by section eighteen, subsection
two, of the Forests Act, 1921-22, I, John Rushworth, Viscount
Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby set apart the
national-endowment land described in the Schedule hereto
as and for a provisional State forest.

SCHEDULE.

NELSON-MARLBOROUGH CONSERVATION REGION.

Provisional State Forest Part No. 121.

ALL that area of national-endowment land in the Nelson
Land District, containing by admeasurement 848 acres,
more or less, and being Section 29, Block IX, Tutaki Survey
District. Bounded towards the westward generally by
Section 28, Block IX aforesaid, and by a public road
forming the south-east boundary of Section 23 of the said
block; thence bounded by a public road along the left bank
of Eight-mile Creek, by a proposed scenic reserve (being
Section 30, Block IX), round Eight-mile Lake, and by a
public road along the right bank of the said creek to the
southern boundary of Section 22, Block IX; thence by the
said southern boundary to the easternmost corner of the
last-mentioned section; thence by a line to Eight-mile
Trig.; thence to Six-mile Trig.; thence to the easternmost
corner of Section 3, Block XIII, Tutaki Survey District;
and thence bounded towards the south-west by the said
Section 3 to the point of commencement. As the same is
more particularly delineated on forest atlas No. 114,
deposited in the Head Office, State Forest Service, at
Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government
House at Wellington, this 24th day of May, 1922.
