Lands set apart as Provisional State Forests.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1921–22, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby set apart the Crown lands described in the Schedule hereto as and for provisional State forests.
SCHEDULE.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—WELLINGTON CONSERVATION REGION.
Provisional State Forest No. 71.
ALL that area of Crown land, containing by admeasurement 149 acres, more or less, being Section 9, Block XIV, Kaitieke Survey District.
Also all that area of Crown land, containing by admeasurement 335 acres, more or less, being Section 1, Block XIII, Kaitieke Survey District.
As the same are delineated on forest atlas No. 062, deposited in the Head Office, State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Provisional State Forest Part No. 67.
All that area of Crown land, containing 11,125 acres, more or less, being Sections 3 and 4, Block X, 2 to 12, 14 to 23, and 27 to 31, Block XI, 9 and 18, Block XII, 11 and 19, Block XV, Manganui Survey District; and also the unsurveyed land in Blocks XII, XV, and XVI, Manganui Survey District, and Blocks IX and XIII, Ruapehu Survey District, which is bounded as follows: Commencing at the junction of the north-east corner of Section 27, Block XI, Manganui Survey District, with the Mangaturuturū Stream, and proceeding along the stream in an easterly direction to the north-western corner of Subdivision 2A No. 2, Urewera Block; thence towards the south-west by the western boundary of the Urewera Block to the North Island Main Trunk Road; thence towards the north-west by the said road to the Main Trunk Railway; thence towards the south-west by the said railway to the Horopito West Township; thence towards the south and west generally by the said township, Sections 20, Block XVI, and 17, Block XV, Manganui Survey District; thence towards the north-east by Sections 31, 28, and 27, Block XI, Manganui Survey District, to the place of commencement: excepting thereout all public roads and the North Island Main Trunk Railway line.
As the same is delineated on forest atlas No. 062, deposited in the Head Office, State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Provisional State Forest No. 72.
All that area of Crown land, containing 9,800 acres, more or less, being part of Rangataua North Nos. 1 and 3 Blocks, and part of Waiakaki Block, situated in Blocks XIV and XV, Ruapehu Survey District, and Blocks II and VI, Karioi Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by the Tongariro National Park, on the south-east by the State Forest Reserve as proclaimed in New Zealand Gazette No. 5, of the 18th of January, 1900, page 103, and Rangiwaewa No. 1 Block to where the edge of the bush is intersected by the Waiakaki Stream; towards the south-west by the edge of the bush to its junction with the Mangaehuehu Stream; thence towards the west and north-west generally by the Mangaehuehu Stream to the north-easternmost corner of Section 3, Block II, Karioi Survey District; thence by the said Section 3, the Mangateitei Road, Sections 8 and 11, Block I, Karioi Survey District, and Subdivision 2B No. 2, Rangataua Block, to the Mangawhero River; thence by the Mangawhero River, the Mangaiti Stream, and Subdivisions 1C No. 4, 1B and 1A, Urewera Block, to Tongariro National Park, the place of commencement.
As the same is delineated on forest atlases Nos. 62 and 71, deposited in the Head Office, State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Provisional State Forest No. 73.
All that area of Crown land, containing 112 acres 3 roods 18 perches, more or less, being the balance of Section 6, Block I, Karioi Survey District, after deducting therefrom the area reserved as an addition to Tongariro National Park by notice published in New Zealand Gazette No. 64, of 1st June, 1916, page 1827.
Also all that area of Crown land, containing 519 acres 1 rood 6 perches, more or less, being the balance of Sections 1 and 3, Block I, and Sections 1 and 2, Block V, Karioi Survey District, after deducting therefrom the area reserved as an addition to Tongariro National Park by notice published in New Zealand Gazette No. 64, of the 1st June, 1916, page 1827, and also the area taken out of the aforesaid Section 2 for railway water-supply purposes by Proclamation published in New Zealand Gazette No. 16, of the 17th February, 1910, page 597.
Provisional State Forest No. 74.
All that area of Crown land, containing by admeasurement 2,778 acres, more or less, being Subdivision 4F 17A, Rangiwaewa Block, situated in Block III, Karioi Survey District.
As the same are delineated on forest atlas No. 071, deposited in the Head Office, State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Provisional State Forest No. 75.
All that area of Crown land, containing 5,100 acres, more or less, being part Subdivision 1D B, Awarua Block, situated
