OHURA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Ohura County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £13,000, authorized to be raised by the Ohura County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of completing the reforming, bridging, culverting, and metalling the Waitewhena and Hapurua roads, the said Ohura County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-farthings (¾d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Waitewhena Special Rating District, comprising the following area: Commencing at Puketawai Trig. Station on the boundary of the Waitomo County, and following in a north-westerly direction by the Waitomo County boundary to the Mokau River; thence in a southerly direction by the Mokau River to the northern boundary of the Mangakara Riding; thence by the Mangakara Riding to the Mangakara Stream; thence by the Mangakara Stream to its junction with the Waitewhena Stream; thence by the said Waitewhena Stream to the Ohura Road; thence by the said Ohura Road to the south-western corner of Section 2A; thence in a northerly direction by the said Section 2A to the block-line; thence by the said block-line to the south-western corner of Section 35, Block II, Ohura S.D.; thence by the said Section 35 and Sections 13, 11, 10, and 18, Block II, Ohura S.D., to the Prentice Road; thence in an easterly direction by the said Prentice Road to the boundary of the Nihoniho Riding; thence in a northerly direction by the said Nihoniho Riding to the south-western corner of Section 3, Block 10, Aria S.D.; thence by the said Section 3, Block 10, Aria S.D., to the place of commencement. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the fourteenth day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary meeting of the shareholders of the above company held at the registered office of the company on the twelfth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two (1922), and confirmed by a subsequent meeting of the shareholders of the company, in terms of the provisions of the said Act, it was unanimously resolved by the members present at such meetings that the company go into voluntary liquidation, and that I, C. H. WHITEHEAD, be appointed Liquidator of the company.

DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
THAT, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on and for securing the repayment of a loan of £200,000, authorized to be raised by the Dunedin City Council, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, the said Dunedin City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of fivepence (5d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of March and the 1st day of September in each and every year from the 1st day of September, 1922, or until the loan is fully paid off.

ST. KILDA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the St. Kilda Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of fourteen thousand pounds (£14,000), authorized to be raised by the St. Kilda Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of repaying existing special loans, the said St. Kilda Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of five-eighths of a penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of St. Kilda, comprising the whole of the borough; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the first day of September and the first day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
THAT, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of eighty thousand pounds (£80,000), authorized to be raised by the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board, under the above-mentioned Act, the said Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence (2d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage District: and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of December and the first day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WHAKATANE BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Whakatane Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Whakatane Borough Council Supplementary Electric-power Plant Loan of £6,500, authorized to be raised by the Whakatane Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of supplementing the cost of its proposed electric-power plant, the said Whakatane Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of four-fifths of a penny (4/5d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Whakatane; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
