RUBY BAY.
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing 3 acres 0 roods 20 perches, more or less, being part of Sections 9 and 18, Moutere Hills Original District, Block II, Moutere Survey District, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 47, folio 103, Nelson Registry.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 20th day of January, 1922.

Warrant appointing the Cost of Maintaining, Repairing, Improving, or Reconstructing the Karapiro Bridge at Cambridge.
JELLICOE, Governor-General.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in that behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby direct that on and after the date of the gazetting hereof the cost of maintaining, repairing, improving, or reconstructing the Karapiro Bridge at Cambridge shall be borne by the Cambridge Borough Council, the Matamata County Council, the Waikato County Council, and the Waipa County Council in the following proportions—viz., the Cambridge Borough Council shall pay fifty per centum, the Matamata County Council shall pay thirty-five per centum, the Waikato County Council shall pay ten per centum, and the Waipa County Council shall pay five per centum of such cost respectively.
And I do hereby further direct that any contribution hereby required to be made as aforesaid by the Matamata County Council, the Waikato County Council, and the Waipa County Council shall be paid from time to time, in the proportions hereinbefore prescribed, out of the funds of the said Councils, within a period of one month after demand in writing made by or on behalf of the Cambridge Borough Council, and such payments shall be made from time to time to the Town Clerk, Cambridge, for and on account of the said County Councils.
SCHEDULE.
THAT bridge over the Karapiro Creek at Cambridge, in the Auckland Land District, known as the Karapiro Bridge, between Dominion Avenue and the Rotorua and Taupo Road. As the site of the said bridge is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 52759, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 13th day of January, 1922.

Warrant authorizing the Hutt County Council to construct a Bridge over the Stokes Valley Stream on the Main Hutt Road, and apportioning the Cost.
JELLICOE, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and nineteen of the Public Works Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is, inter alia, enacted that in any case where the local authority of any district desires to construct a bridge or to establish a ferry or ford in any position that will, in its opinion, be of advantage and benefit to the whole or any considerable portion of the inhabitants of an adjacent district as well as to the inhabitants of its own district, and where it is, in the opinion of such local authority, reasonable that the local authority of such adjacent district should contribute to the cost of constructing or establishing the said bridge, ferry, or ford, the provisions of the said section shall have effect:
And whereas the Hutt County Council has given notice and taken the steps required by the said Act, and has made application to the Governor-General to authorize the construction of a bridge over the Stokes Valley Stream on the Main Hutt Road, and to apportion the cost of constructing and establishing such work among the Wellington City Council, the Eastbourne Borough Council, the Petone Borough Council, the Lower Hutt Borough Council, the Upper Hutt Town Board, and the Hutt County Council:
And whereas it is also provided in the said Act that the Governor-General (with the view of determining whether or not the work should be done, or what proportion, if any, of the cost of same should fairly be borne by any local authority, or what local authority should do the work) may direct any Magistrate or other person to be a Commissioner to inquire into and report to him on the matter:
And whereas by section four of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1908, the said section, one hundred and nineteen of the Public Works Act, 1908, was amended so as to enable the Governor-General to authorize the work to be executed either as originally proposed or with such alterations as are agreed on between the local authorities concerned, or as are recommended by the Commissioner:
And whereas a Commissioner was appointed, and an inquiry was duly held in the manner provided by the said Act in respect to the work proposed to be executed, and in respect also to the apportionment of the cost of constructing such work:
And whereas such Commissioner did report to the Governor-General, after due inquiry, his opinion as to the matters respecting which he was appointed to report, and recommended that instead of the work originally proposed the work described in the Schedule hereto, and hereinafter referred to as “the said work,” should be carried out:
And whereas I am of opinion that the said work should be done, and it is expedient to make provision under the said Act for the purposes and in the manner hereinafter set forth:
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby authorize the Hutt County Council to execute the said work; and I do hereby declare that the cost of the said bridge shall be borne by the said Councils and Board in the following proportions—viz., the Wellington City Council shall pay forty-four per centum, the Eastbourne Borough Council one per centum, the Petone Borough Council three per centum, the Lower Hutt Borough Council six per centum, the Upper Hutt Town Board ten per centum, and the Hutt County Council thirty-six per centum of such cost respectively.
And I do hereby further direct that any contribution hereby required to be made as aforesaid by the said Councils and Board shall be paid from time to time, out of the funds of the said Councils and Board, within a period of one month after demand in writing made by or on behalf of the Hutt County Council, and all such payments for and on account of the said Councils and Board shall be made to the Clerk of the Hutt County Council.
