prising all that area in the Nelson, Marlborough, and Canterbury Land Districts bounded by a line commencing at Mount Humboldt in the Spenser Mountains, and proceeding thence north-easterly along that range and the St. Arnaud Range to the Waimea County; thence following the south-eastern boundary of the said Waimea County as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1917, page 4194, to the shore of Croisilles Harbour; thence following the sea-coast generally easterly and southerly to the mouth of the Conway River, and up that river to its source at Palmer Saddle; thence along a right line to Barefell Pass and a right line westerly to Mount Humboldt, the point of commencement: including therein D’Urville Island and all islands adjacent to the coast; and the conditions affecting the same, and also the form of license and the fee payable therefor.
REGULATIONS.

RED-DEER stags and fallow-deer bucks may be taken or killed within the Marlborough Acclimatization District from the 23rd day of February, 1922, to the 30th day of April, 1922 (both days inclusive).

Licenses to take or kill such deer may be issued by the Chief Postmaster at Blenheim, and the Postmaster at Havelock, on payment of a license fee of £1, in the form prescribed in the Schedule hereto, and subject to the said Act and these regulations; provided that not more than one such license shall be issued to the same person.

No licensee shall take or kill more than six red-deer stags or fallow-deer bucks, and no red-deer stag shall be killed carrying antlers with less than eight points.

No doe, hind, or fawn shall be taken or killed on any pretext whatever; and no licensee shall allow any dog to accompany either himself or any attendant he may have with him.

Nothing herein contained shall extend to authorizing any person to sell any deer or portion thereof.

Regulations as to deer “tags,” per New Zealand Gazette No. 40, Vol. I, of 20th May, 1909, page 1408, shall be strictly adhered to by each licensee, who, in addition thereto, shall return all unused “tags” to the secretary of the Marlborough Acclimatization Society, Blenheim, immediately he has finished stalking for the season for which such “tags” have been issued, together with a statement of the number of deer shot.

Any person committing a breach of any of these regulations shall be liable, on conviction, to a fine not exceeding £20.

Amending the Description of a Primary-education Endowment in the Village of Drury, North Auckland Land District, set apart as a Site for a Public School.
JELLICOE, Governor-General.
WHEREAS by a Warrant dated the twenty-third day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, Allotments 44, 45, 46, 59, 60, and 61 of Section 8, Village of Drury, North Auckland Land District, a primary-education endowment, were set apart as a site for a public school, in terms of section five of the Education Reserves Amendment Act, 1911:
And whereas an error was made in the description of the said reserve in the First Schedule to the said Warrant, and it is desirable that the error of description should be rectified:
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, and of every other power and authority enabling me in this behalf, do hereby amend the Warrant dated the twenty-third day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, hereinbefore referred to, by substituting the description of Allotments 44, 45, 46, 59, 60, and 61 of Section 8, Village of Drury, as set forth in the Schedule hereto, for the description of the said allotments set forth in the First Schedule to the Warrant of the twenty-
third day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, aforesaid.

Notifying Lands in Marlborough Land District for Sale by Public Auction for Cash or on Deferred Payments.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred and twenty-six of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Monday, the thirteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, as the time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction for cash or on deferred payments: and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

These sections are situated one mile from the Blenheim Post-office, and adjoin the Borough of Blenheim. All flat, first-class, agricultural land suitable for residential sites, opposite Mayfield Subdivision and Waterlea Racecourse.
Improvements included in upset price are as follows: Section 4, fencing and old shed valued at £10; Section 5, fencing valued at £3; Section 6, fencing valued at £2; Section 8, fencing and fruit-trees valued at £5.

Opening National-endowment Lands in Southland Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the national-endowment lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for selection on renewable lease on Tuesday, the fourteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, at the rentals mentioned in the said Schedule; and I do also declare that the said lands shall be leased under and subject to the provisions of the said Act.
