Proclaiming Native Land to be Crown Land under Section 14
of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land
Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia,
that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land
has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under
the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-
General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become
Crown land:
And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the
Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of
the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power
and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of
the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, John Rushworth,
Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land set out in the Schedule
hereto to be Crown land.
SCHEDULE.
WAIUKU West Lot 143B Block, Maioro Survey District:
Approximate area, 191 acres 0 roods 28 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government
House at Wellington, this 18th day of January, 1922.

Bunbury Street and Portion of Beach Road, in the Portobello
Road District, exempted from the provisions of Section 117
of the Public Works Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of
January, 1922.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the
Public Works Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution
passed by the Portobello Road Board on the twelfth day of
May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, viz.:—
"That the Portobello Road Board, having control of the
proposed newly formed road connecting Cowal Street,
Township of Dunoon, Broad Bay, with terrace fronting
Beach Road, as shown on plan furnished by Mr. R. S.
Allan, C.E., by resolution declares that the provisions of
sections one hundred and sixteen and one hundred and
seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to
the said road or street, and that the provisions of section
one hundred and seventeen of the said Act shall not apply
to the said Beach Road as far as it affects the subdivision
shown on the said plan";
such road and portion of road being described in the Schedule
hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that road situated in the Township of Dunoon, Portobello
Road District, known as Bunbury Street, connecting Cowal
Street and Beach Road in the said township, and adjoining
Lots 1 to 8 (inclusive) of Sections 18, 19, and 20, Township of
Dunoon.
Also all that portion of Beach Road, in the said township,
road district, and land district, commencing at its junction
with Cowal Street in the said township, and proceeding in a
north-easterly and then south-easterly direction, and adjoining
Lots 6, 7, and 8, Bunbury Street, and Lot 5, being subdivisions
of Sections 18, 19, and 20, Township of Dunoon.
As the said road and portion of road are more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 52304, deposited in the
office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the
Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered red.

the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution
passed by the Tamaki West Road Board on the twenty-fourth
day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one,
viz.:—
"The Tamaki West Road Board, being the local autho-
rity having control of the roads in the Tamaki West Road
District, hereby declares that the provisions of section one
hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall
not apply to all that portion of the south side of the road
along the foreshore at Kohimarama fronting Lots 1, 2, and
3 on a plan deposited in the Land Transfer Office at Auck-
land under No. 9930, being part of a subdivision of part of
Allotment 31, Parish of Waitemata, the said portion of road
comprising the whole frontage of said Lots 1, 2, and 3 as
set out on said deposited plan and on certificates of title,
Vol. 247, folios 18 and 19, Auckland Registry";
such portion of road being described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road in the North Auckland Land District,
Tamaki West Road District, known as the road along the
foreshore at Kohimarama fronting Lots 1, 2, and 3, D.P. 9930,
being part of a subdivision of part Allotment 31, Parish of
Waitemata. As the said portion of road is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 53433, deposited in the
office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the
Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured yellow.

Consenting to the Raising of Loans by certain Local Authorities.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of
January, 1922.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS application has been made, under section
twenty, subsection one, of the Finance Act, 1919,
for the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council
to enable the several local authorities mentioned in the
Schedule hereto to borrow the sums set out therein, and it is
expedient that such consent should issue:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby consent to the raising of the loans hereinafter
mentioned by the several local authorities set out in the
Schedule hereto, and it is hereby declared that this Order in
Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the
Finance Act, 1919, and shall operate accordingly as a consent
of the Governor-General in Council to the raising of the loans
hereby authorized.
