Declaring Pahaheke Road, in the Woodville County, to be a
County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 19th day
of April, 1922.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING
IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers
in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the
road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the
date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that road known as Pahaheke Road, in the Hawke’s
Bay Land District, Woodville County, commencing at its
junction with River Road, and proceeding thence generally
in a south-easterly direction, adjoining or passing through
Sections 35 and 39, Block XIII, Tahorai te Survey District,
and terminating at its junction with the Pahiatua–Kumeroa
Road; being a distance of 2 miles 9 chains, more or less.
As the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 54111, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land
District, and thereon coloured red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon him by the Public Works Act, 1908,
His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
direct the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto,
the said land having been purchased for the purpose of a
post-office and being no longer required for such purpose.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land directed to be sold:
1 rood 6·5 perches.
Being Lot 5 on D.P. 2557, being part of Section 384, Township
of Carnarvon, Block VII, Te Kawau Survey District.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act,
1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
appoint

ISAAC JAMES BRADLEY,
PETER CAMPBELL,
ROBERT HAMILTON FERGUSON,
CHARLES EDWARD TIMOTHY HALL,

JOHN O’LEARY,

to be the Timaru Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint
Monday, the fifteenth day of May, one thousand nine hun-
dred and twenty-two, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time
when, and the Domain Board Office, Stafford Street, Timaru,
as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be
held.

SCHEDULE.
TIMARU DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing
by admeasurement 8 acres 1 rood 21 perches, more or less,
being part of Reserve 102 (in red), situate in the Borough
of Timaru. Bounded towards the north by a public road,
1012·8 links; towards the east by the public road facing the
beach, by lines aggregating 1005·7 links; towards the south
by other part of Reserve 102, 726·7 links; and towards the
west by part of Rural Section 1702, 949·5 links: be all the
aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated
on the plan marked L. and S. 1084/10A, deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington,
and thereon bordered red.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 19th day

IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred by the Public Reserves and Domains Act,
1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke an Order
in Council dated the twenty-third day of February, one
thousand eight hundred and eighty-five, and published in the
Gazette of the twenty-sixth day of that month, delegating
powers to the Mount Hutt Road Board under the Public
Domains Act, 1881, and doth hereby appoint

THE MEMBER FOR THE MOUNT HUTT RIDING, ASHBURTON
COUNTY COUNCIL (ex officio),
THE CHAIRMAN OF THE MOUNT HUTT ROAD BOARD
(ex officio),
FREDERICK ANDREW ANDERSON,
JOHN WILLIAM MARTIN DART,
THOMAS SPEARING JAMES DOHERTY,

described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and
subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and
doth hereby appoint Monday, the first day of May, one
thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, at eight o’clock p.m.,
as the time when, and the Mount Hutt Road Board Office,
Methven, as the place where, the first meeting of the said
Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.
METHVEN DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, comprising
Reserves 2613, 2613A, and 3184, situated in Block VII,
Spaxton Survey District, containing together by admeasure-
ment 22 acres 1 rood, more or less, and bounded as follows:
Towards the north by a public road, 1779·9 links; towards the
east by Cemetery Reserve 2612 and Rural Section 30312,
1682·9 links; towards the south-west by a public road,
1976·5 links; and towards the west by Reserve 2026,
823·2 links. As the same is delineated on the plan marked
L. and S. 1/283, deposited in the Head Office, Department
of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered
red.
