day of October, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-third day of October, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, setting apart Crown lands for selection by discharged soldiers, under the Land Act, 1908, in so far as it relates to the land in the Schedule hereto.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Hokonui Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

ROAD CLOSED.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed : 1 acre 0 roods 38·7 perchex. Adjoining or passing through Section 146; Block XXIX; coloured green.
All situated in Hokonui Survey District (Southland R.D.). (S.O. R/492.) All in the Southland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 53577, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1908.
