And I do hereby restrict the number of such imported game and native game that may be taken or killed by any one person in any one day to not more than twenty hares and twenty grey duck and black swan in all.

Nothing in any license to take or kill imported game and native game shall authorize the holder thereof to take or kill imported game and native game on lands actually and exclusively used by any registered acclimatization society for acclimatization purposes, or on any sanctuary or public domain.

Shooting Season for Imported and Native Game, License Fee, &c., Coromandel Acclimatization District.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, I, William Downie Stewart, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify that the following imported game—viz., cock pheasants and Californian quail—may be taken or killed within the Coromandel Acclimatization District, comprising the County of Coromandel and Gannet Island (except in the area mentioned in the Schedule hereto), from the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, to the thirty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, both days inclusive. And the following native game—viz., grey duck, black teal, and black swan—may be taken or killed within the said district (except in the areas mentioned in the Schedule hereto) from the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, to the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two (both days inclusive). And I do further notify that licenses to take or kill such imported and native game within the said district will be issued to any person on payment of the sum of twenty shillings each; and the Postmasters at Whitianga, Colville, Kuaotunu, Coromandel, and Tairua are hereby authorized to sign and issue the said licenses.

And I do hereby restrict the number of such native game that may be taken or killed by any one person in any one day to not more than twenty-five head in all.

Nothing in any license to take or kill imported and native game shall authorize the holder thereof to take or kill imported and native game on lands actually and exclusively used by any registered acclimatization society for acclimatization purposes, or on any sanctuary or public domain, or any land mentioned in the Schedule hereto.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, I, William Downie Stewart, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify that the following imported game—viz., cock pheasants, Californian quail, and Australian quail—may be taken or killed within the East Coast Acclimatization District, comprising the Counties of Cook, Waikohu, and Waiapu, from the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, to the thirty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two (both days inclusive).

And I do further notify that licenses to take or kill such imported game within the said district will be issued to any person on payment of the sum of one pound (£1) each; and the Chief Postmaster at Gisborne is hereby authorized to sign and issue the said licenses.

Nothing in any license to take or kill imported game shall authorize the holder thereof to take or kill imported game on lands actually and exclusively used by any registered acclimatization society for acclimatization purposes, or on any sanctuary or public domain.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, I, William Downie Stewart, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify that the following imported game and native game—viz., hares, cock pheasants, Californian quail, Australian quail, grey duck, and black swan—may be taken or killed within the Feilding District Acclimatization District, comprising all that area in the Wellington Land District bounded towards the north by the Kawhatau and Pourangaki Streams from the Rangitikei River to the summit of the Ruahine Range; thence towards the east generally by the summit of that range to the Manawatu Gorge, and by the Manawatu River to the Raukawa Road; thence towards the south generally by that road which forms the north-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 455 and 454, Block VIII, Kairanga Survey District, to the Palmerston-Ashhurst Road; thence by that road to Stony Creek Road; thence by that road and the railway-line to the Oroua River; thence by that river to Awahuri; and thence by the Awahuri-Bull’s Road to the Rangitikei River; and towards the north-west generally by the Rangitikei River to the Kawhatau Stream aforesaid, from the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, to the thirty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two (both days inclusive). And I do further notify that licenses to take or kill such imported game and native game within the said district will be issued to any person on payment of the sum of twenty shillings each; and the Postmasters at Feilding, Kimbolton, Apiti, Halcombe, Pohangina, Rangiwahia, and Ashhurst are hereby authorized to sign and issue the said licenses.

And I do hereby restrict the number of such imported game and native game that may be taken or killed by any one person in any one day to not more than twenty-five head each of cock pheasants, Californian quail, and Australian quail, and not more than twenty-five head in all of grey duck and black swan.

Nothing in any license to take or kill imported game and native game shall authorize the holder thereof to take or kill imported game and native game on lands actually and exclusively used by any registered acclimatization society for acclimatization purposes, or on any sanctuary or public domain.

And I do further notify that licenses to take or kill such imported and native game within the said district will be issued to any person on payment of the sum of twenty shillings each; and the Chief Postmaster at Greymouth, and the Postmasters at Ahaura, Blackball, Brunnerton, Moana, Nelson Creek, Ngahere, Otira, Roa, Runanga, Stillwater, Totara Flat, and Waiutu, are hereby authorized to sign and issue the said licenses.

And I do hereby restrict the number of such imported game and native game that may be taken or killed by any one person in any one day to not more than twenty head in all of grey duck, black teal, and black swan.

Nothing in any license to take or kill imported game and native game shall authorize the holder thereof to take or kill imported game and native game on lands actually and exclusively used by any registered acclimatization society for acclimatization purposes, or on any sanctuary or public domain.
