Appointment of Examination Places at Auckland.

Wellington, 21st March, 1922.
I, ROBERT HEATON RHODES, acting for the Minister of Customs, in exercise of the powers vested in me for this purpose by the Customs Act, 1913, do by this Warrant amend the list of examination places appointed by Minister’s Order No. 1084, made on the 28th day of May, 1914, and gazetted on the 4th day of June, 1914, by deleting from the fifth line of the last column in the Second Schedule thereto the words “2 wharf sheds marked K and O,” and by substituting in lieu thereof the words “2 wharf sheds numbered 23 and 24.”

Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.—Declaration by the Registrar dissolving a Society.
I, DONALD GEORGE CLARK, Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that, as it has been made to appear to me that the Women’s Social and Political League is no longer carrying on its operations and has no assets, the aforesaid society is hereby dissolved, in pursuance of section 29 of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.

I, DONALD GEORGE CLARK, Registrar of Incorporated Societies, do hereby declare that, as it has been made to appear to me that The Kaponga Brass Band is no longer carrying on its operations, the assets and liabilities having been taken over by the Town Board, the aforesaid society is hereby dissolved, in pursuance of section 28 of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908.

Notice to Mariners No. 18 of 1922.
FIJI ISLANDS.—NASELAI REEF LIGHT.

Wellington, N.Z., 28th March, 1922.
THE Comptroller of Customs, Suva, advises that on and after the 1st of June, 1922, the existing obscured sector of Naselai Reef white flashing-light, situated at the Rowa River entrance, Vitilevu, Fiji, will be removed; and the light will then be visible all round the horizon.

BRITISH ISLES.
WIRELESS NAVIGATIONAL WARNINGS TO MARINERS.
Commencing on 1st February, 1922, wireless navigational warnings, containing information relating to derelicts, temporary extinction of lights or displacement of principal aids to navigation, drifting mines, ice reports and warnings and other important hydrographic matter, will be transmitted to shipping in accordance with the particulars given in the undermentioned schedules:—

NOTE.—The messages are first of all transmitted immediately upon receipt by the stations concerned, and then at the above-mentioned times.
The transmission of the warnings is continued as long as considered necessary.
The warning message will be preceded by the W/T danger call — — — (TTT), repeated at short intervals 10 times on full power. The warning is broadcasted one minute later and repeated three times, usually at intervals of ten minutes.

ENGLAND.
WEST COAST.—BRISTOL CHANNEL.—LUNDY ISLAND, WRECK NORTH-WESTWARD OF.
Position.—At a distance of about 14 miles north-westward of the north point of Lundy Island.
Lat. 51° 19′ 48″ N., long. 4° 59′ 27″ W. (approx.).
Description.—Sunken wreck of the s.s. “Canterbury Bell.”
SOUTH COAST.—SPITHEAD APPROACH.—OWERS LIGHT VESSEL.—FOG SIGNAL IN OPERATION.
The siren fog signal on Owers Light Vessel, sounding 1 blast of 3 seconds duration every 30 seconds, which was temporarily replaced by a reed horn, has been restored and is again in operation.
Approx. position: 50° 37′ N., 0° 41′ W.
