A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Rangitoto Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a road:
A. R. P. Portion of 3 2 34·3 Subdivision ll of Block II, Rangitikei; coloured pink. 0 1 34·1 Subdivision 12 of Block II, Rangitikei; coloured yellow.
Situated in Block XI. Rangitoto Survey District (Rangitikei R.D.). (S.O. 1661.) In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 53714, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Amending an Order in Council vesting the Control of certain Reserves for Landless Natives in the Southland Land Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of February, 1922.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the ninth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and published in the Gazette of the eleventh day of that month, the control of certain reserves in the Southland Land District set apart to make provision for landless Natives in the South Island was vested in the Land Board of the Southland Land District, pursuant to section twelve of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, as amended by section six of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1916:
And whereas it is deemed expedient to amend the said Order in Council by excluding from the Schedule thereof the lands described in the Schedule hereto:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section twelve of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, and the amendments thereof, and of every other power and authority enabling him in that behalf, doth hereby amend the Order in Council dated the ninth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, hereinbefore referred to by excluding from the land described in the Schedule thereto Sections 451 and 452, Block XVI, Forest Hill Hundred, more particularly described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area of land in the Southland Land District, being Sections 451 and 452, Block XVI, Forest Hill Hundred,
containing by admeasurement 657 acres 0 roods 15 perches, more or less, bounded towards the north by Sections 924 and 923, Block LXII, Hokonui District, 9793·9 links; towards the east by Section 453, Block XVI, Forest Hill Hundred, 7821·9 links; towards the south generally by a public road, 85·3, 1130·8, 664, and 3042·2 links respectively; towards the west by Sections 330, 334, 353, 4015·5 links; towards the south and east by the aforesaid Section 353, 1529·4 and 500·4 links; again towards the south by aforesaid Section 334, 3844·2 links; towards the north-west and south-west by Section 225, 2691·9 and 1969·5 links; again towards the north-west and south-west by Section 351, 1000·3 and 1128·6 links; and towards the north-west generally by a public road, 597·2, 392·9, 448·4, and 362·2 links, to the place of commencement.

Abolishing the Warden's Court at Dunedin.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of February, 1922.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section nine of the Mining Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor-General may from time to time, as he thinks fit, by Order in Council, constitute and appoint, in and for any one or more mining districts or portions thereof, such Wardens' Courts as he deems necessary, and also may abolish any such Court:
And whereas it is desirable that the Warden's Court at Dunedin, which was heretofore duly constituted under the provisions of the law for the time being in force, shall be abolished:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on him by section nine of the Mining Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby abolish the Warden's Court at Dunedin.

Authorizing the Invercargill Borough Council to erect a Tablet in the Main Entrance of the Town Hall as a Permanent War Memorial.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of February, 1922.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by section fifteen of the Finance Act, 1919 (hereinafter referred to as the “said section”), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve the provision by the Invercargill Borough Council of a tablet as a permanent war memorial, as provided by the said section; and, with the like advice and consent, doth hereby approve of the erection of such tablet in the main entrance of the Town Hall, Invercargill.
