(hereinafter referred to as “the said district”), are deriving benefit from the drainage-works carried out by the said Board, did, in accordance with the provisions of section six of the Land Drainage Amendment Act, 1913 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), present a petition to His Excellency the Governor-General praying that the boundaries of the said district might be altered so as to include such lands in the said district :
And whereas in respect thereof a Commission has been appointed to inquire and report as to the several matters mentioned in subsection three of section six of the said Act :
And whereas the Commission so appointed has reported that such lands should be included in the said district :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by section six of the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that as on and from the date hereof the boundaries of the said district are hereby altered so as to include in the said district the lands described in the First Schedule hereto, and that the boundaries of the said district shall be those described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.
AREA INCLUDED IN THE HUNGAHUNGA DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at the junction of roads in Section 8, Block VIII, Maungakawa Survey District, and proceeding thence north-westerly along the western side of the road through Waihekau No. 2 Block to the north-western boundary of that block; thence north-easterly along that boundary, south-easterly along the south-western boundary of Waihekau No. 4 Block, and south-westerly along the road forming the western boundary of Orongomairoa Block, and passing through the aforesaid Section 8 to the point of commencement.

SECOND SCHEDULE.
HUNGAHUNGA DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards the north-west by a right line from the Waitoa River at its intersection by the northern boundary of Block XVI, Waitoa Survey District, to the road forming the north-eastern boundary of Ngutumanga Block at right angles to that road; thence towards the north-east generally by the last-mentioned road and the north-eastern boundary of the Ngutumanga Block to the railway-line; thence across the railway-line and a road to Section No. 14, Block XVI, Waitoa Survey District; thence by the north-western boundaries of Sections 14, 13, 12, and 11, Block XVI, Waitoa Survey District, to the western side of Ngutumanga Road; again towards the east by that road to its junction with Taylor’s Road; again towards the north-west by the middle of Taylor’s Road to its junction with Mikkelsen’s Road; thence towards the east generally by the middle of that road to a point in line with the westernmost corner of Section 17, Block XI aforesaid; thence by a right line to the westernmost corner of Section 17; thence by a right line to the south-eastern corner of that section; thence to and by the middle of a public road to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 3, Block I, Wairere Survey District; thence to and by the western boundary of Section 3, across Steel’s Road, and the western boundary of Section 7 to School Road; thence towards the south by School Road to the north-eastern side of the road forming the north-eastern boundary of Orongomairoa Block; thence by the north-eastern side of the road forming the north-eastern boundaries of Orongomairoa and Hungahunga No. 2 Blocks to the road intersecting Section No. 1, Block V, Wairere Survey District; thence again towards the north-west by the north-western side of the last-mentioned road intersecting the said Section No. 1 to the south-western corner of the north-western part of Section No. 2, Block VI, Wairere Survey District; thence by the south-eastern boundaries of the north-western parts of Sections Nos. 2 and 3, Block VI aforesaid, the south-eastern boundary of the north-western part of Section No. 6, Block II, Wairere Survey District, the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 7, the south-eastern boundary of the north-western part of Section No. 9, the crossing of a road, and the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 12, Block II aforesaid, to the Waihou River; thence again towards the north-east by the Waihou River to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 4, Block X, Wairere Survey District; thence by a right line to the road at the northernmost corner of Section No. 27A, Block X, Wairere Survey District, and by the north-eastern side of the road forming the north-eastern boundary of the said Section No. 27A, and towards the east generally by the eastern side of the road forming the eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 27 and 26, Block X aforesaid, and forming the eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 25, 24, 23, 22, 21, 20, and 19, Block XIV, Wairere Survey District, and forming the south-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 18, 17, and 16,
Block III, Tapapa Survey District, and Sections Nos. 15 and 14, Block II, to a point in line with the south-western boundary of the last-mentioned section; thence towards the south-west by a line across the said road, and by the south-western boundary of Section No. 14 aforesaid and its production to the Morrinsville–Rotorua Railway line, along that railway-line to a point opposite the southernmost corner of Section 1, Block II, Tapapa Survey District; thence to and along the southern boundary of that section to the road forming its south-western boundary, across that road, along the eastern boundary of Section 81 and part of the north-eastern boundary of Section 80 to and across a road to the aforesaid railway-line, and again along the railway-line to a point opposite the north-eastern corner of Section 104, Block VI; thence to and along the northern boundary of that section to the right bank of the Waitoa River, and along the right bank of that river to the southernmost corner of Section 7, Block II, Tapapa Survey District; thence along the south-eastern boundary of that section and its production to the Morrinsville–Rotorua Railway line; and thence by that railway-line to the road intersecting Matamata North Block in a north-westerly direction; thence by the south-western side of the said road and the south-western side of the road intersecting Section No. 1, Parish of Waitoa, and Section No. 1, Block VIII, Maungakawa Survey District, to the easternmost corner of Section No. 2, Block VIII aforesaid; thence by the south-western side of the road forming the north-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 2, 3, and 4, Block VIII aforesaid, and the south-western side of the road intersecting Sections Nos. 5, 6, 7, 8, and 8A, Hungahunga No. 1 and Waihekau No. 2 Blocks; thence along the north-western boundary of said Waihekau No. 2 Block to the southernmost corner of Section No. 9, Rangiatea Estate, along the south-western boundaries of Sections Nos. 9, 8, and 7, and that line produced to and across a public road forming the north-western boundary of Section No. 36, Block XVI, Waitoa Survey District; thence along the watershed crossing Sections Nos. 34, 33, and 32 to the Waitoa River, and along the right bank of that river to the place of commencement.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 11th day of January, 1922.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1911, and of every other power enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the Order in Council dated the nineteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-second day of the same month, authorizing the Raetihi Town Board to use water from the Makara, Little Makara, Orautoha, Makotuku, and Mangaone Streams for the purpose of generating electricity and to erect electric lines within portions of the Manganui and Makotuku Survey Districts, by adding to clause 16 thereof the following words:—
“A minimum charge not exceeding 5s. per month, inclusive of meter-rent, may be collected by the licensee, provided such minimum charge is printed on the licensee’s conditions of supply.”
