A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of
every other power and authority in any wise enabling me in
this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby pro-
claim as stopped the Government roads described in the
Schedule hereto, such roads being no longer required.

Proclaiming Native Land to be Crown Land under Section 14
of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land
Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia,
that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land
has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under
the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-
General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become
Crown land :
And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in
the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf
of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act,
1909 :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power
and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of
the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, John Rushworth,
Viscount Jellicoe, the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land set out in the
Schedule hereto to be Crown land.
SCHEDULE.
TOKAANU B No. 2n Block: Approximate area, 50 acres;
Puketi Survey District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued

Tautane Survey District. Bounded towards the north gene-
rally by a public road, and by other part of Porangahau 1b 4n
Block, for distances of 224·3 and 1029 links respectively ;
and towards the east and south-west generally by the Wha-
gaehu Stream ; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government
House at Wellington, this 23rd day of December, 1921.
