burton Electoral District boundary and south-west of the
Rakaiā River; less the whole of the Tawera County now
included in the Hurunui Electoral District hereinbefore de-
scribed, also less the whole of the No. 1 Riding of Halswell
County and the portion of No. 2 Riding of the said county
now included in the Riccarton Electoral District hereinbefore
described, also those portions of the Homebush and Courtenay
Ridings of Malvern County now included in the Riccarton
Electoral District hereinbefore described.

ASHBURTON.

Ashburton District comprises the existing Ashburton Elec-
toral District together with the Borough of Geraldine, the
whole of the Rangitata Riding of Ashburton County, that
portion of the Mount Peel Riding of Geraldine County lying
to the north-east and north-west of the Orari River; also
that portion of the Ruakapuka Riding lying to the north-east
of the Waihi River, the eastern and south-western boundaries
of the Borough of Geraldine, and the road at the north-east
corner of Section 5006, Block V, Geraldine Survey District;
then in a southerly direction by that road to its junction
with Mackenzie’s Road and Packham’s Road; thence by
Packham’s Road to the road forming the south-western
boundary of Section 2, Block X, of the said survey district;
thence by that road to the road forming the south-east
boundary of Section 3 of the said block and survey district,
and by that road to the road intersecting Sections 4233 and
3163 of the said block and survey district, and by that road
to the road intersecting Sections 4233 and 3163 of the said
block and survey district, and by that road to the said
riding boundary at the Great Southern railway-line; and
less those portions of the Selwyn and Ashburton Counties
now included in the Ellesmere Electoral District hereinbefore
described.

TEMUKA.

Temuka District comprises the existing Temuka Electoral
District together with the whole of the Upper Pareora, Lower
Pareora, and Otaio Ridings of Waimate County; also that
portion of the Waimaitaiti Riding of Levels County lying to
the north of the road at the south-western corner of Section 2,
Block VIII, Pareora Survey District, and by that road run-
ing to the Albury Branch Railway at the south-east corner
of Section 13680, Block V, Arowhenua Survey District; also
that portion of the Seadown Riding of the said county lying
to the north of the road running from its junction with the
Kerry Town Road in Section 19610, Block V, of the said
survey district to the ocean at the south-east corner of Sec-
tion 14595, Block IX, of the said survey district; and less
those portions of the Ashburton and Geraldine Counties now
included in the Ashburton Electoral District hereinbefore
described.

TIMARU.

Timaru District comprises the existing Timaru Electoral
District less those portions of the Waimaitaiti and Seadown
Ridings of Levels County hereinbefore described.

WAITAKI.

Waitaki District comprises the existing Waitaki Electoral
District together with the whole of the Puketoi and Hyde
Ridings of Maniototo County, the whole of the Greenvale,
Dunback, and Macrae’s Ridings of Waihemo County, the
whole of the Hawksbury Riding and Waikouaiti Riding of
Waikouaiti County; also the whole of the Merton Riding of
the said county less that portion lying to the east of the Main
South Road, south of the road forming the northern boundary
of Section 26, passing through Section 33, forming the northern
boundaries of the aforesaid Section 33, 83, 82, the northern
and north-eastern boundary of Section 81, north-east boundary
of Section 80, Block I, Waikouaiti Survey District; less the
Upper Pareora, Lower Pareora, and Otaio Ridings of Wai-
mate County, now included in the Temuka Electoral District
hereinbefore described.

OAMARU.

Oamaru District comprises the existing Oamaru Electoral
District unaltered.

DUNEDIN NORTH.

Dunedin North District comprises the existing Dunedin
North Electoral District together with the Sawyer’s Bay Ward
of the West Harbour Borough, and that portion of Waikouaiti
County lying to the south-west of the eastern boundaries of
Sections 55, 54, and 52, Block VIII, of the North Harbour and
Blueskin Survey Districts and the boundary of Dunedin City;
also those portions of Dunedin City lying between King and
Cumberland Streets, Albany and Frederick Streets and be-
tween Elder and London Streets, Pitt and Argyle Streets.

DUNEDIN WEST.

Dunedin West District comprises the existing Dunedin
West Electoral District together with that portion of Dunedin
City bounded on the south generally by High Street and the
Mornington Cable Tramway to Woodhead Street, to its junction
with the Glen Avenue; thence along that avenue to Haw-
thorn Avenue, along that avenue to District Road; thence
along that road to its intersection with the northern boundary
of Lots 14 to 18 of Richmond Hill Subdivision; thence along
the said boundary to its intersection with the eastern boundary
of Block IX, Dunedin and East Taieri District; thence along
the said boundary to the District Road, and along that road
to its intersection with the southern boundary of the said
Block IX; thence along the said southern boundary to its
junction with the existing boundary of the Dunedin North
Electoral District at the south-east corner of Section 17,
Kaikorai District; and less those portions of Dunedin City
now included in the Dunedin North Electoral District here-
before described.

DUNEDIN CENTRAL.

Dunedin Central District comprises the existing Dunedin
Central Electoral District together with that portion of
Dunedin City now excluded from the Dunedin South Electoral
District hereinafter described; and less that portion of the
said Dunedin City now included in the Dunedin West Electoral
District hereinbefore described.

DUNEDIN SOUTH.

Dunedin South District comprises the existing Dunedin
South Electoral District together with the Borough of Mosgiel
and less that portion of Dunedin City bounded towards the
south generally by Cargill Road to Forbury Road, and by
that road to the road forming the north-western boundaries
of Sections Nos. 1, 4, 5, and 7, Kew; thence by the road
forming the south-western boundary of Sections Nos. 7 and 8,
Kew, to Victoria Road, and its extension to the north-
eastern corner of Section 13, Caversham, and by the north-
eastern boundary of the said Section No. 13 to Playfair
Road; thence by the northern boundary of Section No. 2 to
Great Queen Street; thence by that street to the Main
South Road, and by that road to the existing Dunedin South
Electoral District boundary at Caversham Road.

CHALMERS.

Chalmers District comprises the Borough of Port Chalmers,
that portion of the Waikouaiti County lying to the south-
east of the Waitaki Electoral District hereinbefore described,
less that portion included in the Dunedin North Electoral
District hereinbefore described; the whole of the Taieri
County; the whole of the Waipori and Waitahuna Ridings
of Tuapeka County; the whole of the Clarendon, Waihola,
and Glenledi Ridings of Bruce County; that portion of the
Mount Stuart Riding of the said Bruce County lying to the
north-east of the railway-line, and that portion of the Toko-
mairo Riding of the aforesaid Bruce County not included
in the Clutha Electoral District hereinafter described. This
district also includes Quarantine Island.

INVERCARGILL.

Invercargill District comprises the existing Invercargill
Electoral District together with the whole of the Extension
of the Borough of Invercargill lying to the west of the existing
Invercargill Electoral District boundary.

WALLACE.

Wallace District comprises the existing Wallace Electoral
District together with that portion of the Hokonui Riding
of Southland County lying to the north of the existing electoral
boundary of the Awarua Electoral District; also that portion
of the Mataura Riding of the said Southland County lying to
the south-west of the existing Awarua Electoral District
boundary and north-west of the Okapua Creek; also that
portion of the Winton Riding of the said Southland County
lying to the east of the existing Awarua Electoral District
boundary.

AWARUA.

Awarua District comprises the existing Awarua Electoral
District together with that portion of the Awarua Riding of
Southland County bounded towards the east by the western
boundaries of the Waimumu, Lyndhurst, and Lothian Hun-
dreds of the said Southland County and the boundary of the
existing Awarua Electoral District, and bounded towards the
south by the northern boundary of the Waihopai Riding of
the said Southland County; also that portion of the Wai-
hopai Riding of the said county bounded on the west by
the existing boundary of the Awarua Electoral District, on
the east by the Gorge Road, Seaward Bush Railway, and
the Mataura River, and on the south by the sea-coast; also
that portion of the Toetoe’s Riding of the said Southland
