Crown Lands set apart for Disposal by way of Sale or Lease
to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the
Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement
Act, 1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the areas of Crown lands
described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are
hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of
sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures,
in the manner provided in the said Act.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rush-
worth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in
the Takahue Survey District described in the Schedule
hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a
road:-

1 0 9.9 Portion of Section 19 ; coloured red.
7 2 15 Portion of Tangonge Kauri-gum Reserve;
coloured neutral.
Situated in Block V, Takahue Survey District.
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are
more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S.
15/42, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, under number 1933, and thereon
coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government
House at Wellington, this 20th day of October, 1921.

Proclaiming Road-lines laid out through Ruatoki Nos. 1, 2, and
3 Blocks to be Public Roads.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the parcels of land described in the Schedule
hereto were, by orders of the Native Land Court,
duly laid off as road-lines, in pursuance of sections forty-eight,
forty-nine, and fifty of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913:
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that the said
road-lines should be proclaimed as public roads, and a notifi-
cation to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of
Lands, in terms of section fifty-one of the said Act:
And whereas one month's notice in writing of the intention
to proclaim the said road-lines as public roads has been given
by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district
concerned, in terms of section fifteen of the Native Land
Amendment Act, 1914:
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-lines
should be proclaimed as public roads:
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pur-
suance and exercise of the powers conferred by sections forty-
eight, forty-nine, and fifty of the Native Land Amendment
Act, 1913, and in so far as each of these sections is applicable.
do hereby proclaim as public roads the road-lines described
in the Schedule hereto.

vey Districts; coloured blue on plan.
50 0 0 Ruatoki No. 3 Block, situated in Blocks VIII,
Rangitaiki Lower, and V and VI, Waimana
Survey Districts; coloured yellow on plan.
In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more par-
ticularly delineated on the plans marked L. and S. 16/878A
and B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands
and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 1931, and thereon
coloured as above mentioned.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me
in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Go-
vernor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the additional land mentioned
in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the North
Island Main Trunk Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim
and declare that the land which is described in the Schedule
hereto (and which was taken for the purposes of the North
Island Main Trunk Railway, and is not now required for such
purposes) shall, upon the publication hereof in the New
Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that such road shall be
maintained by the Waitomo County Council in like manner
as other public highways are controlled and maintained by
the said Council.
