of Lot 20 on D.P. 4783; thence by the southern boundary-line of the said Lot 20 to its south-western corner; thence towards the north by the western boundary of the aforesaid Lot 20 to the Pipiriki-Ohakune Road; thence by a right line across that road to the western side thereof; again towards the north by the western side of the said road to the south-eastern corner of Lot 15 on D.P. 3791; and again towards the north and west generally by the southern and western boundary-lines of the said Lot 15, the western boundary-line of Lot 14, the southern boundary-lines of Lots 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, and 2, and the southern and western boundary-lines of Lot 1 of the said D.P. 3791 to the north-western corner of the last-mentioned lot, the place of commencement.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 22nd day of October, 1921.

Constituting the Town District of Glen Eden in the County of Waitemata.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it is enacted by the Town Boards Act, 1908, that the Governor-General may declare that any locality outside a borough wherein there are not less than fifty householders shall be a town district:

And whereas a petition has been presented to the Governor-General by the inhabitants within the area mentioned and described in the said petition, praying that such area may be constituted a town district under the Town Boards Act, 1908:

And whereas a Commission appointed in pursuance of section two of the Town Boards Amendment Act, 1912, held an inquiry, and reported that the locality defined in the said petition was suitable for municipal control, and made certain alterations of the boundaries thereof:

Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the Town Boards Act, 1908, and of all other powers enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that as on and from the first day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, the area described in the Schedule hereto, being the locality defined in the said petition, with boundaries as altered by the said Commission, shall be a town district, and the same is hereby constituted a town district under the Town Boards Act, 1908, by the name of the Glen Eden Town District. And, in further pursuance and exercise of the said powers, I do hereby proclaim, declare, and appoint that the Board of Commissioners for the said district shall consist of seven members.

SCHEDULE.

GLEN EDEN TOWN DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, situate in Waikomiti Parish, containing by admeasurement 1,265 acres, more or less, commencing at the south-eastern corner of Section 90, Waari Hamlet, and bounded towards the north-east generally by the Auckland-Kaipara Railway to its intersection with a public road; thence by the northern boundary of the aforesaid road, across the said railway, to and across its junction with another public road; again by the northern boundary of the aforesaid road for a distance of 12058 links by a right line bearing 54° 43', 722·3 links, to the north-western boundary of Sabulite Road; thence towards the north-west generally by the said boundary of that public road to its intersection with Great North Road, by a right line across the said Great North Road, and thence by another right line across the aforementioned public road to the westernmost corner of Allotment 229, Parish of Waikomiti; thence by the south-eastern boundary of the said public road to the westernmost corner of Allotment 230; thence towards the north-east by the last-mentioned allotment and Allotment 162 to the Auckland-Kaipara Railway, by a right line across said railway to the boundary of the New Lynn Town District as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 62, of the 23rd June, 1910, page 1789; thence towards the north-east and south-east generally by the said New Lynn Town District boundary to the westernmost corner of Allotment 139, Parish of Waikomiti; thence towards the north-east and south-east by Allotment 138 and Allotments 137 and 136, all of the aforesaid parish, to and across a public road to its western boundary, by the said boundary of the said public road to the northernmost corner of Allotment 127; thence towards the south-east and south-west generally by the last-mentioned allotment and Allotments 40 and 50, both of the aforesaid parish, to and across a public road, and again by the said Allotment 50, Lots 70, 71, and 72 of Allotment 119, Lots 1, 2, and part of 3 of Allotment 118, part of Lot 3, and Lots 4 and 6, of Allotment 117, all of Waikomiti Parish aforesaid, and by the production of the northern boundary of the last-mentioned lot to the centre of a public road; thence towards the south-west by the centre of said public road to a point in line with the north-eastern corner of Allotment 11, Parish of Waikomiti, by a right line to the said corner of that allotment, and thence towards the south-east by the said Allotment 11 to the south-eastern boundary of Allotment 112; thence towards the north-west by that allotment and Allotment 15, both of the aforesaid parish, and by the production of the south-eastern boundary of the last-mentioned allotment to the centre of a public road; thence towards the north-east by the centre of said public road to a point in line with the production of the south-eastern boundary of Allotment 114, by a right line to the southernmost corner of the said Allotment 114, and thence towards the north-west generally by the south-eastern boundary of the said Allotment 114; thence towards the south-west by the north-eastern boundary of the same allotment for a distance of 600 links; thence by a right line bearing 14° 27' to the centre of a public road; thence towards the south-west by the centre of said public road to a point in line with the production of the south-eastern boundary of a portion of Allotment 14 of the aforesaid parish containing 51 acres, by the said portion of Allotment 14 to a creek forming the southern boundary of Section 90, Waari Hamlet, by the said creek, and the south-eastern boundary of the last-mentioned section to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid bearings and linkages more or less.

Change of Name of Locality "Cabbage Bay" to "Colville," and of Bay "Cabbage Bay" to "Colville Bay."

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS settlers in the locality known as "Cabbage Bay," in the County of Coromandel, desire that the name of such locality, and of the bay adjacent thereto also known as "Cabbage Bay," should be changed to "Colville" and "Colville Bay" respectively, and it is considered expedient to alter the same:

Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Designation of Districts Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the name of the locality now known as "Cabbage Bay" and that the name of the bay now known as "Cabbage Bay," in the County of Coromandel, shall be and the same are hereby altered to "Colville" and "Colville Bay" respectively, and do assign the last-mentioned names to such locality and such bay accordingly; and also do hereby proclaim and declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on the first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, not being earlier than six months after the first publication thereof in the Gazette.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of August, 1921.
