Land taken for Scenic Purposes in Blocks XIV and XV,
Kawhia North Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, the
Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for scenic purposes; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-ninth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:—

Situated in Blocks XIV and XV, Kawhia North Survey District. (S.O. 16561, blue.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 31836, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 7th day of October, 1921.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-ninth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 4 acres 0 roods 36 perches.
Portion of Rangitoto-Tuhua 6102B 3A, Block VIII, Totoro Survey District (Taranaki R.D.). (S.O. 5695.)
In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 52256, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured pink.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this llth day of October, 1921.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Mining Work in Block XVI, Hukerenui Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Coal-mines Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of working a mine owned by the Hikurangi Coal Company (Limited), and shall vest in the Hikurangi Coal Company (Limited) as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one; and I do further declare that all claims arising out of or connected with the taking of the said land or the construction of works thereon or otherwise howsoever shall be paid by the Hikurangi Coal Company (Limited).

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 8 acres 3 roods.
Portion of Allotments S.E. 41 and N.W. 42, situated in Hikurangi Parish, Block XVI, Hukerenui Survey District. (S.O. 21499.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 52087, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged pink.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this llth day of October, 1921.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Hauraki Plains Act, 1908, and the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the more effective carrying-out of the drainage or other works in the Hauraki Plains; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-ninth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, such road being no longer required.
