Dannevirke Electric-power Board.—First Election.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of September, 1921.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Electric-power Boards Act, 1918, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the fifth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, as the day on which shall be held the first election of representatives of the constituent districts in the Dannevirke Electric-power District, being an electric-power district duly constituted by Proclamation dated the first day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 75, of the eleventh day of the same month.

Declaring Land to be no longer subject to Part XIV of the Native Land Act, 1909.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of September, 1921.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section ninety-six of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, it is enacted that the Governor-General in Council may from time to time by Order in Council declare that any land subject to Part XIV or XV of the Native Land Act, 1909 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), and vested in a Maori Land Board, shall no longer be subject to such Parts of that Act, and shall be revested in the Native owners thereof:
And whereas the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is at present subject to Part XIV of the said Act, and is vested in the Ikaroa District Maori Land Board, which Board has recommended that such land be no longer subject as aforesaid and that it be revested in the Native owners:
And whereas the Governor-General is satisfied that the said land is not subject to any lease, license, contract for sale, or other alienation, and that no moneys are charged on the said land or on the revenue thereof in accordance with the said Act or under any other authority:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by section ninety-six of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall no longer be subject to Part XIV of the Native Land Act, 1909, and shall be revested in the Native owners thereof.
SCHEDULE.
Lots 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 16, and 18, shown on deposited plan No. 2636, in the Wellington Land District, being part of the land known as Mauihakona Block (Hutt Section 98B, Lot 2), containing 2 acres 1 rood 16 perches, more or less.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Anzac Park Domain.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of September, 1921.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint RICHARD ROUTLY HODGE, JAMES EDMUND HOLMES, JAMES JACKSON, WILLIAM JONES, JOHN RICHARD MCINNES, and ERNEST GERVASE WILLIAM TIBBITTS to be the Anzac Park Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the thirteenth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, at half past two o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Whangarei County Council Chambers, Bank Street, Whangarei, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
ANZAC PARK DOMAIN—NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 15 acres 2 roods 28 perches, more or less, being Lot 1 of a subdivision of portion of Raumanga Nos. 1 and 2 Blocks, situated in Block XII, Purua Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on a public road at the southern boundary of Tarewa Block, towards the north generally by the said Tarewa Block, 267·5 and 654·2 links, to Lot 2 of a subdivision of portion of Raumanga Nos. 1 and 2 Blocks; thence towards the east and south generally by the said Lot 2, 222·5, 381·4, 291·8, 475·4, 43·2, 171·1, 500·9, 187·5, and 621 links, to a public road; thence towards the west generally by said public road, 1170·3 and 494·8 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. Empowering Maori Land Board to dispose of Land by way of Sale under the Native Land Act, 1909.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of September, 1921.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is subject to Part XIV of the Native Land Act, 1909:
And whereas by subsection three of section two hundred and thirty-nine of the Native Land Act, 1909, it is provided that, notwithstanding anything hereinbefore contained in this section, the Governor may by Order in Council, on the recommendation of the Board in whose district any such land is situated, in any case in which he is of opinion that an equal division of that land in manner aforesaid would be impracticable or inexpedient in the public interest or in the interests of the owners, authorize the division of that land in any other proportion, or authorize the whole of that land to be disposed of either by sale or lease:
And whereas the Tokerau District Maori Land Board has recommended that it is expedient that the land set out in the Schedule hereto shall be disposed of by way of sale:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby authorize the land set out in the Schedule hereto to be disposed of by way of sale.

HORAHORA 1B 3 Block, Whangarei Survey District: Approximate area: 101 acres 0 roods 12 perches.
