Crown Land set apart for the More Effective Carrying-out
of the Drainage or Other Works in the Hauraki Plains in
Block III, Piako Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of
every other power and authority in anyway enabling me
in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described
in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the more
effective carrying-out of the drainage or other works in the
Hauraki Plains in Block III, Piako Survey District; and I
also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect
on and after the twentieth day of August, one thousand
nine hundred and twenty-one.

Constituting the Dannevirke Electric-power District, and
Outer Area of such District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it is provided by section three of the Electric-
power Boards Act, 1918, that any area or areas of
land may be constituted an electric-power district or outer
area of such district under the said Act, and in the manner
therein provided :
And whereas a petition, praying that the area described
in the First Schedule hereto may be constituted an electric-
power district under the said Act, and that the area described
in the Second Schedule hereto may be constituted an outer
area of such electric-power district, was presented to the
Governor-General on the twenty-first day of July, one thousand
nine hundred and twenty-one:
And whereas such petition was publicly notified in the
Examiner and the Manawatu Daily Times of the thirteenth
day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one,
respectively, and the Dannevirke Evening News of the eleventh
day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one,
being newspapers circulating in the proposed electric-power
district :
And whereas, after due inquiry, the Governor-General is
of opinion that the petition should be granted, subject to
the proposed boundaries of the outer area being altered as
hereinafter appears :
Now, therefore I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in
pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred
upon me by section three of the Electric-power Boards Act,
1918, do hereby proclaim the district with the boundaries
as described in the First Schedule hereto to be an electric-
power district, and I hereby assign to such district the name
of the "Dannevirke Electric-power District"; and I do
hereby alter the proposed boundaries of the outer area, and
further proclaim that the outer area with the altered boundaries
as described in the Third Schedule hereto shall be an outer
area of such electric-power district.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
DANNEVIRKE ELECTRIC-POWER DISTRICT.
ALL that area, situated in the Hawke's Bay Land District,
comprising the counties of Dannevirke and Woodville, the
boroughs of Dannevirke and Woodville, and the town
districts of Ormondville and Norsewood, all as at present
constituted, bounded on the north by the northern boundary
of the Dannevirke County, on the west by the western
boundaries of the Dannevirke and Woodville Counties, on
the south by the southern boundary of the Woodville County
and portion of the southern boundary of the Dannevirke
County, and on the east by the eastern boundary of the
Dannevirke County. As the said area is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 52290, deposited in
the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in
the Wellington Land District, and thereon bordered red
(outside border).
SECOND SCHEDULE.
PROPOSED OUTER AREA.
ALL that area, in the Hawke's Bay Land District, comprising
the Weber County and portion of the Patangata County,
both as at present constituted, bounded on the north by
the southern side of the road along the right bank of the
Porangahau River from its mouth to the junction with the
Waipukurau main road; thence by that road to its junction
with the Te Uri Road, and thence by that road to the point
where it first strikes the county; on the west by that portion
of the Patangata County boundary between the point where
the Te Uri Road first strikes the Patangata County boundary
and the Weber County boundary, and the western boundary
of the Weber County; on the south by the southern boundary
of the Weber County; on the east by the sea-coast from the
southern boundary of the Weber County to the point of com-
mencement at the mouth of the Waipukurau River. As
the said area is more particularly delineated on the aforesaid
plan marked P.W.D. 52290, and thereon bordered yellow.
THIRD SCHEDULE.
THE OUTER AREA.
ALL that area, in the Hawke's Bay Land District, com-
prising the Weber County as at present constituted. As
the said area is more particularly delineated on the aforesaid
plan marked P.W.D. 52290, and thereon bordered green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand ; and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government
House at Wellington, this Ist day of August, 1921.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the
Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of every other
power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf,
I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land
described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject
to the Land Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of stopped Government
roads declared to be Crown land:-
