THE following notice, received from the Mayor of the Council of the Borough of Waipawa, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913.

WAIPAWA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.
Pursuant to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Waipawa was taken on the 23rd day of June, 1921, on the proposal to borrow the sum of £1,500 to pay the purchase-price of a new engine for the Waipapa Borough Water-supply and Sewerage System, and for the installation of the same.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 55, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 6.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
Dated this 24th day of June, 1921.

Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.
Pursuant to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of ratepayers of the Borough of Feilding taken on the 28th day of June, 1921, on the proposal of the Feilding Borough Council to borrow the sum of £5,000 for the purpose of extending the electric lighting system, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 95, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 16; informal, 2.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
