Station Pukemore No. 676A ; thence along a right line to the road at the south-eastern corner of Section 390, Taupiri Parish ; along that road to the northern boundary of Block XII, Rangiriri Survey District ; thence due east to the road near the southernmost corner of Section 348, along that road to and along the south-western boundary of the said Section 348 to the junction of roads at the easternmost corner of Section 349 in Block V, Hapuakohe Survey District ; thence by a right line to the junction of roads at the westernmost corner of Section 280 in Block V, Hapuakohe Survey District ; thence by the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 348 and 366, to the place of commencement.

Amending Regulations under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of June, 1921.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend, in the manner set forth in the Schedule hereto, the regulations under the said Act made on the twentieth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-second day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen.

SCHEDULE.

CLAUSE 20 of the said regulations is hereby further amended by adding to subclause (d) thereof the following proviso :—
“Provided that advances made under subclause (c) for buildings on rural holdings not exceeding in area 21 acres may be made by way of mortgage in the Form No. 10 in the First Schedule, or as near thereto as may be necessary, and shall be repayable by half-yearly or monthly instalments over a period of twenty-five years and a half. Every instalment shall consist partly of interest and partly of principal, and shall be calculated at the rate of 7 per centum per annum on the amount of the advance, and shall be applied towards payment of interest and principal in the proportions set out respecting the appropriate payment in the Second Schedule hereto. Form No. 10 in the First Schedule hereto shall be altered where necessary to provide for payment by monthly instalments. The decision as to whether moneys advanced shall be secured by way of flat mortgage or by instalment mortgage, and in the latter case whether such moneys shall be repayable by half-yearly or monthly instalments, shall be at the discretion of the Minister.”

Amending Regulations under the National Provident Fund Act, 1910.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred by section seven of the National Provident Fund Act, 1910, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the regulations made under the said Act on the ninth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, and gazetted on the nineteenth day of the said month, and also the regulations made on the twenty-third day of December, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and gazetted on the eighth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, in the manner hereinafter set forth.

REGULATION.

THE forms “C” and “K” in the regulations hereinbefore referred to are hereby revoked, and forms “C” and “K” in the Schedule hereto are substituted therefor.
