Proclaiming Native Land to be Crown Land under Section 14
of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land
Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia,
that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land
has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under
the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-
General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become
Crown land:
And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the
Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of
the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power
and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of
the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, John Rushworth,
Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land set out in the Schedule
hereto to be Crown land.
SCHEDULE.
MOKAU Mohakatino No. 1E No. 2A 2 Block, Mokau Survey
District: Area, 606 acres 1 rood 8 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government
House at Wellington, this 21st day of June, 1921.

Stopping a Government Road in Block XII, Maungakaretu
Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of
every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in
this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby pro-
claim as stopped the Government road described in the
Schedule hereto, such road being no longer required.

under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government

Constituting the Reefton Electric-power District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it is provided by section three of the Electric-
power Boards Act, 1918, that any area or areas of
land may be constituted an electric-power district under the
said Act, and in the manner therein provided:
And whereas a petition, praying that the area described in
the Schedule hereto may be constituted an electric-power
district under the said Act, was presented to the Governor-
General on the thirteenth day of January, one thousand nine
hundred and twenty-one:
And whereas such petition was publicly notified in the
Inangahua Times dated the sixth day of December, one
thousand nine hundred and twenty, being a newspaper circu-
lating in the proposed electric-power district:
And whereas after due inquiry the Governor-General is of
opinion that the petition should be granted:
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe,
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pur-
suance and exercise of the power and authority conferred
upon me by section three of the Electric-power Boards Act,
1918, do hereby proclaim the district as described in the
Schedule hereto to be an electric-power district, and I hereby
assign to such district the name of the "Reefton Electric-
power District."
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area of land in the Nelson Land District, comprising
the Reefton Riding of the Inangahua County, bounded on
the north by Boatman's Riding from the watershed between
the Little Grey and Inangahua Rivers to the eastern bound-
ary of Section 60, Block X, Reefton Survey District; thence
along the boundary to the south-east corner of the said
section; thence on the east by a line bearing in a south-
westerly direction to the south-east corner of Section 198,
Block XIV, Reefton Survey District; thence along west
bank of the Inangahua River to a point on the northern
boundary of Cushington Riding; thence from that point on
the south by a line bearing south-westerly to the eastern
corner of Section 185, Block XIII, Reefton Survey District;
thence along the southern boundary of said section to the
western corner; thence by a line due west to the watershed
between the Little Grey and Inangahua Rivers; and thence
on the west by said watershed to point of commencement
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 50762, deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged in red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued
under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government
House at Wellington this 28th day of June, 1921.

Altering Boundaries of Mangawara Drainage District, County
of Waikato.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 20th day of
June, 1921.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE SIR F. H. D. BELL, K.C.M.G.,
PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Mangawara Drainage Board has, in ac-
cordance with the provisions of section six of the
Land Drainage Amendment Act, 1913 (hereinafter referred
to as "the said Act"), presented a petition to His Excellency
the Governor-General praying that the area described in the
First Schedule hereto may be included in the Mangawara
Drainage District: And whereas no objections have been
received to the proposal:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority vested in him by section six of the
said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
order and declare that as on and from the date hereof the
boundaries of the said district are hereby altered so as to
include in the said district the lands described in the First
Schedule hereto, and that the boundaries of the said district
shall be those described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
AREA TO BE ADDED TO MANGAWARA DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded by a
line commencing at the south-eastern corner of Section 2,
Block V, Hapuakohe Survey District, and proceeding thence
northerly along a road forming the eastern boundary of said
Section 2, and easterly along a road forming the southern
boundary of Section 3; thence along the southern and eastern
boundaries of Small Grazing-run 18 to the westernmost corner
of Lot 5 of Section 279, Whangamarino Parish, along the
north-western boundary of said Lot 5 to the western boundary
of Section 471; thence southerly along that boundary and
north-easterly along the north-western boundaries of Sections
472, 448, 449, 450, 451, 452, 453, and 454; thence south-
easterly along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 454,
