Declaring Portion of Kakahi Road, in the Ohura County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of January, 1921.

Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of the Kakahi Road, in the Taranaki Land District, Ohura County, commencing at its junction with the Turoto Road at the Kakahi Bridge in Block XI, Ohura Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly direction, adjoining or passing through Sections 12 (school-site), 6, and 9, Block XI, Ohura Survey District, and terminating at the western boundary of Section 10, Block XI, Ohura Survey District; being a distance of 2 miles 10 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 50461, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portion of Huiarua Road, in the Waikohu County, to be a County Road.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road, in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, Waikohu County, known as Huiarua Road, commencing at a point on the south-western boundary of Section 1, Block IX, Tutamoe Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly and north-westerly direction, adjoining or passing through said Section 1, Block IX, Tutamoe Survey District, Sections 2 and 1, Block V, Tutamoe Survey District, and terminating at a point on the eastern boundary of Small Grazing-run 98, Block V, Tutamoe Survey District; being a distance of 4 miles 50 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 49678, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon marked with a broken red line.

Declaring Portion of Mangangarara Road, in the Patangata County, to be a County Road.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of January, 1921.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road, in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, Patangata County, known as the Mangangarara Road, commencing at the north-western corner of Section 3, Block VI, Porangahau Survey District (being the terminating point of the road known as the Mangaorapa Road, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 50, of the 20th day of May, 1920, page 1550), and proceeding thence in a westerly direction generally, adjoining or passing through Section 3, and Mangangarara No. 2 Subsection A, Block V, Porangahau Survey District, and terminating at the eastern boundary of Section 4, Block V, Porangahau Survey District; being a distance of 2 miles 10 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 49477, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red and lettered A–B.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Lake Ellesmere Domain.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

GEORGE HERBERT COOK,
PHILIP JOHN DE LA COUR,
ALBERT HENRY KIMBER,
GEORGE MCBEAN,
CHARLES WOLFE,
FREDERICK WILLIAM WOODWARD, and
THE COMMISSIONER OF CROWN LANDS, CHRISTCHURCH,

as from the third day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, to be the Lake Ellesmere Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the second day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, at half past two o’clock p.m., as the time when, and 213 Manchester Street, Christchurch, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
