Declaring Maramamau Settlement Road, in the Featherston County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of May, 1921.

Present :

THE HONOURABLE SIR F. H. D. BELL, K.C.M.G.,

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that road situated in the Wellington Land District, Featherston County, known as the Maramamau Settlement Road, commencing at its junction with the Kahautara Road at the boundary between Sections 3 and 6, Maramamau Settlement, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction, adjoining or passing through Sections 3 and 4, Maramamau Settlement, and terminating at the eastern boundary of Section 1, Maramamau West Block, all situated in Block XII, Wairarapa Survey District; being a distance of fifty-four chains, more or less. As the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 50344, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the portions of road declared to be a Government road: 18 acres 0 roods 3 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Crown land situated in Block XIV, Moeangiangi Survey District (Hawke’s Bay R.D.). (S.O. 613, green.)

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 51291, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

Declaring Portion of Tokomaru Valley Road, in the Horowhenua County, to be a Government Road.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a Government road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road situated in the Wellington Land District, Horowhenua County, known as Tokomaru Valley Road, commencing on the south-western boundary of Section 6, Block XVI, Mount Robinson Survey District, at a point near the south-eastern corner of the said Section 6, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly and then easterly direction, adjoining or passing through Sections part 6, 8, 14, 9, 11, and 10, and school reserve, Block XVI, Mount Robinson Survey District, and part Section 8, Block XI, Arawaru Survey District; thence proceeding generally in a south-westerly direction, adjoining or passing through the said school reserve and part Section 10, Block XVI, Mount Robinson Survey District, and part Sections 8 and 9, Block XI, Arawaru Survey District; and terminating at a point opposite the boundary between Sections 9 and 10, Block XI, Arawaru Survey District; being a distance of 4 miles 30 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 51467, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Extending Prohibition of Alienation of certain Native Land other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of May, 1921.

Present :

THE HONOURABLE SIR F. H. D. BELL, K.C.M.G.,

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of six months the Order in Council dated the twenty-fifth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and gazetted the twenty-seventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, prohibiting all alienation of the land specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

PUKETAPU Block, Tuhua, Piopioea, Puketapu, and Maungaku Survey Districts: Approximate area, 35,000 acres.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section and by section one hundred and eleven of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913 (as amended by section eight of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1916), His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of six months the Order in Council dated the first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and gazetted the fourth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, prohibiting all alienation
