Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of the Papakauri Road, in the Auckland Land District, Awakino County, commencing at the junction with the Te Kuiti–Mokau Road near the north-western corner of Mahoenui D 3, Block VI, Awakino East Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly and then south-westerly direction, adjoining or passing through the said Mahoenui D 3, Mahoenui D 2, Mahoenui E Nos. 3 and 2, Block VI, and part Section 1, Block X, Awakino East Survey District, and terminating at a point about ten chains west of the boundary between Sections 1 and 2, Block X, Awakino East Survey District ; being a distance of 2 miles 20 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 51377, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Making Additional Rule under Judicature Act.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section fifty-one of the Judicature Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, and with the concurrence of the Honourable the Acting Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of New Zealand and two of the Judges of the said Supreme Court, doth hereby make the following rule ; and doth declare that such rule shall take effect on and from the third day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one.

ADDITIONAL RULE.

EVERY person applying for leave to swear that any person is dead, with the view of obtaining a grant of probate of his will or letters of administration of his estate, shall file an affidavit setting out whether the life of the person alleged to be dead was insured, and, if it was, setting out the name and address of the insurer, and that notice of the said application has been served on such insurer at his or its principal place of business in New Zealand, with copies of all affidavits filed in support of such application, and exhibiting the answer of such insurer to such notice or proving the due service thereof. Every such insurer shall be entitled to appear on such application and adduce evidence on the hearing thereof.

Extension of Copyright Act, 1913, to Greece

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 3rd day of May, 1921.

WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the twenty-seventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, and gazetted on the first day of April then instant (hereinafter referred to as the said Order), the Copyright Act, 1913, was extended to the foreign countries therein mentioned, subject to the provisions set out in the said Order : And whereas it is desired to extend the said Order to Greece :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the Copyright Act, 1913, doth hereby extend the said Order to Greece as if that country were amongst the foreign countries of the Copyright Union named in paragraph (1) of the said Order, subject to the following modifications :—

(1.) The provisions of paragraph (2) proviso (iii) (b), paragraph (2) proviso (iii) (c), and paragraph (2) proviso (iii) (e) of the said Order shall apply as if Greece were included amongst the foreign countries named in those provisions.

(2.) In the application of the provisions of paragraph (3) of the said Order to works of which the country of origin is Greece the commencement of this Order shall be substituted for the commencement of the said Act and for the commencement of the said Order.

(3.) In the application to such works of sections 3 (2) (d) and 25 of the Copyright Act, 1913, the commencement of this Order shall be substituted for the commencement of the said Act in section 25 (7) and 25 (8) wherever that expression occurs.

(4.) In the application to such works of section 32 of the Copyright Act, 1913, the commencement of this Order shall be substituted for the commencement of the said Act wherever that expression occurs in subsection (1) (a) and for the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and thirteen, in subsection (1) (b).

This Order shall come into operation on the twelfth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, which date is in this Order referred to as the commencement of this Order.

WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the twenty-seventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, and gazetted on the first day of April then instant (hereinafter referred to as the said Order), the Copyright Act, 1913, was extended to the foreign countries therein mentioned, subject to the provisions set out in the said Order : And whereas by reason of the late war with Austria-Hungary the said Order ceased to have effect in the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy, and it is now desired to extend the said Order to Austria :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the Copyright Act, 1913, and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, doth hereby revoke all references in the said Order to the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy, and doth hereby extend the said Order to Austria as if that country were amongst the foreign countries of the Copyright Union named in paragraph (1) of the said Order, subject to the following modifications :—

(1.) The provisions of paragraph (2) proviso (iii) (a) of the said Order shall apply as if Austria were included amongst the foreign countries named in those provisions.

(2.) In the application of the provisions of paragraph (3) of the said Order to works of which the country of origin is Austria the commencement of this Order shall be substituted for the commencement of the said Act and for the commencement of the said Order.
