to enable the Auckland City Council to borrow the sum of
fifty thousand pounds for the renewal of an existing loan,
and it is expedient that such consent should issue:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby consent to the raising of the loan of fifty thou-
sand pounds for the renewal of a loan by the Auckland City
Council, provided that the rate of interest at which the loan
is to be raised shall in no case produce to the lender a return
exceeding six pounds per centum per annum ; and it is hereby
declared that this Order in Council is made under the pro-
visions in that behalf of the Finance Act, 1919, and shall
operate accordingly as a consent of the Governor-General in
Council to the raising of the loan hereby authorized.

Declaring the Native Trust Office to be subject to Part XI
of the Public Revenues Act, 1910, and appointing the Native
Trustee and the Deputy Native Trustee to be Two of the
Custodians of the Securities held in New Zealand belonging
to the Native Trust Office.

IN pursuance of the provisions of section ninety-six of the
Public Revenues Act, 1910, and of all other power and
authority enabling him in that behalf, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of that Dominion
doth hereby declare

THE NATIVE TRUST OFFICE

to be subject to Part XI of the Public Revenues Act, 1910 ;
and doth hereby appoint

THE NATIVE TRUSTEE and
THE DEPUTY NATIVE TRUSTEE

respectively, to be two of the Custodians of the securities
held in New Zealand belonging to the Native Trust Office.

Determining the Lease over an Education Reserve in the North
Auckland Land District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 27th day
of April, 1921.

Present :

THE HONOURABLE SIR F. H. D. BELL, K.C.M.G.,
PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section three of the Education Reserves
Amendment Act, 1913 (hereinafter termed “ the said
Act ”), it is, inter alia, enacted that any lease or license which
has been heretofore granted by School Commissioners under
the Education Reserves Act, 1908, or any former Act relating
to education reserves or endowments, and which confers
upon the lessee or licensee any right, whether absolutely or
contingently, to a renewal of the lease or license, whether
on the same or different terms and conditions, may be at
any time determined by the Governor-General by Order in
Council, if the Land Board reports to the Minister that the
land comprised in such lease or license shall be subdivided :

And whereas the North Auckland Land Board has reported
to the Minister that the land described in the Schedule hereto
should be subdivided :

Now, therefore His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the
powers and authorities conferred upon him by section three of
the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
declare that from and after the thirtieth day of January,
one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, the lease over
the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall absolutely
cease and determine.


SCHEDULE.

Date of lease : 1902.
Name of lessee : A. and J. Barton.
Land comprised in lease : Section 110, Waiuku East Parish.

Declaring Portion of Aramatai Road, in the Waitomo County,
to be a County Road.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers
in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that
the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall,
on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a
county road.


SCHEDULE.

All that portion of the Aramatai Road, in the Taranaki
Land District, Waitomo County, commencing at its junction
with the Pukerimu Road in Section 1, Block III, Mapara
Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a
southerly direction, adjoining or passing through part Sections
1 and 3, Block III, Mapara Survey District, and terminating
at its junction with the Tikitiki and Kurakura Roads in the
said Section 3 ; being a distance of 1 mile 25·30 chains, more
or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 51246, deposited in
the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington,
in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

West Survey District, and terminating at the crossing of
the Towhenua Stream in the said 2B Section 1, Ohura South
F Block, Block IV, Piopiotea West Survey District ; being a
distance of fifty-two chains, more or less. As the said portion
of road is more particularly delineated on plan marked
P.W.D. 51385, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public
Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and
thereon coloured red.
