  1. The purchaser of the timber shall have no right to the use of the land.

  2. The timber shall be cut in a face, and the right is reserved to follow up the mill-workings by felling and grassing such areas as from time to time are cleared of milling-timber. Sufficient timber shall be left for fencing and general farming purposes. Cutting must commence within six months of date of sale, and be continuous during the currency of the license.

  3. The right to lay down and to work tram-lines through the land by persons other than the licensee is reserved.

  4. The licensee shall not put, throw, or place, or allow to be put, thrown, or placed, into any river, stream, or watercourse, or into any place where it may be washed into any river, stream, or watercourse, any sawdust or other sawmill refuse.

  5. If the timber on any lot is unsold at auction the right to cut it at the upset price will remain open for application until further notice.

  6. No compensation will be given, nor shall any be claimed, for any error, discrepancy, or misdescription whatever in respect of the timber or in these conditions.

  7. All the timber, whether standing or felled or in logs, shall remain the property of the Crown until the purchase-money is paid in full.

  8. Should any dispute arise as to boundaries the decision of the Commissioner or Conservator shall be final and conclusive.

  9. The timber will be sold generally in accordance with the area and boundaries as shown on the sale map.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICES.

EVIDENCE having been furnished of the loss of certificate of title, Vol. 45, folio 87, for Lot 2, plan 1312, part Section 194, Town of Hastings, whereof KATHLEEN HARRIETTE DOUGLAS, Wife of WILLIAM JOHN DOUGLAS, of Te Mahanga, Sheep-farmer, is the registered proprietor, and application having been made to me for the issue of a provisional certificate of title for the said land, I hereby give notice that it is my intention to issue such provisional certificate of title, as requested, after 29th April, 1921.

Dated at the Land Registry Office, Napier, this 11th day of April, 1921.
