His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve the provision by the Taradale Town Board of a monument as a permanent war memorial, as provided by the said section; and, with the like advice and consent, doth hereby approve of the erection of such monument in that portion of the Town District of Taradale described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, in the Town District of Taradale, bounded on the north by Neaves Road, on the south-east by the Napier–Taradale main road, and on the west by the Avondale Road.

Consenting to the Raising of Loans by certain Local Authorities.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS application has been made, under section twenty, subsection one, of the Finance Act, 1919, for the precedent consent of the Governor-General in Council to enable the several local authorities mentioned in the Schedule hereto to borrow the sums set out therein, and it is expedient that such consent should issue:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the raising of the loans hereinafter mentioned by the several local authorities set out in the Schedule hereto, provided that the rate of interest at which the loans or any of them are to be raised shall in no case produce to the lender a return exceeding five and one-half pounds per centum per annum; and it is hereby declared that this Order in Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the Finance Act, 1919, and shall operate accordingly as a consent of the Governor-General in Council to the raising of the loans hereby authorized.

Consenting to stopping Portion of Road in Block 1, Russell Survey District, Bay of Islands County.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Bay of Islands County Council stopping the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be stopped: 35 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Lots 1, 2, and 6 of Section 13, Township of Russell, Block I, Russell Survey District. (S.O. 21135.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 50436, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

Certain Species of Birds indigenous to New Zealand not to be deemed protected.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of April, 1921.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Animals Protection Act, 1908, as amended by the Animals Protection Amendment Act, 1910, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby suspend the operation of section ten of the said Animals Protection Amendment Act, 1910, for the period commencing on the second day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, and ending on the thirty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, with respect to the species of birds indigenous to New Zealand mentioned in the Schedule hereto; and, with the like advice and consent, doth declare that such suspension shall be subject to the provisions contained in the Warrants in respect of the shooting season in each acclimatization district.

Declaring Portion of Huia Road, in the Ohura County, to be a County Road.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of Huia Road, in the Taranaki Land District, Ohura County, commencing at its junction with the Ohura Road near the south-east corner of Taurangi Block 4, Block V, Ohura Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction, adjoining or passing through Taurangi Block 4, Block V, Ohura Survey District, and Mangaroa 2c and 2b Blocks, Block VI, Ohura Survey District, and terminating at a point on the southern boundary of the said Mangaroa 2c Block; being a distance of one mile, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 51247, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
