Revoking the Setting-apart of Land for Selection by Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Southland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the ninth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and eighteen, and published in the Gazette of the fourteenth day of March then instant, setting apart the settlement land described in the Schedule hereto for selection by discharged soldiers, under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915.

SOUTH LAND DISTRICT.—SETTLEMENT LAND.

Merrivale No. 1 Settlement.—Wallace County.

SECTION 14, Block XI, Waiau Survey District: Area, 293 acres 2 roods.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of April, 1921.

Lands set apart as Provisional State Forests.

A PROCLAMATION

B Y virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section thirty-four of the War Legislation and Statute Law Amendment Act, 1918, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby set apart the Crown lands described in the Schedule hereto as and for a provisional State forest.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in Blocks XII and XIII, Wairio Survey District, containing approximately 1,391 acres. Commencing at the north-eastern corner of Section 177; thence by the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 177 to a State forest; thence towards the north-west and north-east generally by said State forest to Run 133; thence by Run 133 to the north-western boundary of Section 29; thence towards the south-west by said Section 29 and a road abutment; towards the north-east by the last-mentioned road to Section 176; thence towards the south generally by the last-mentioned section, a public road, Section 6, a road abutment, Sections 4, 101, 100, and 99, the abutment of a road, Sections 18 and 96, the abutment of a road, again by Section 96 and Section 177 to the place of commencement. As the same is delineated on the plan numbered 90A, deposited in the Head Office, New Zealand State Forest Service, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of April, 1921.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block I, Otahuhu Survey District, One Tree Hill Road District.

A PROCLAMATION.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 roods 25·8 perches.

Portion of Allotments 18 and 19, Section 11, Suburbs of Auckland, Block I, Otahuhu Survey District. (S.O. 21197.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 50853, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of April, 1921.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirtieth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one.
