A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in the Mangaorongo Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in the Waiwera Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road : 3 roods 24 perches.

Portion of Section 2, Okura Parish, Block XI, Waiwera Survey District (North Auckland plan 20757).

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/843, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 2nd day of April, 1921.

Proclaiming a Road-line laid out through Portion of Ngapakihi No. 2 Block to be a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the parcel of land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the sixteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, duly laid out as a road-line, in pursuance of section one hundred and seventeen of Native Land Act, 1909 :

And whereas by section two of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1918, it is provided that where any road-line has heretofore been laid out under the said section one hundred and seventeen and has not been proclaimed as a public road, then such road-line may be proclaimed as a public road under section forty-eight of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, subject, however, to the conditions prescribed by section fifty-one of the last-mentioned Act, and section fifteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914 :

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that in the public interest the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section fifty-one of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913 :

And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of section fifteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914 :

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road :

Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-eight of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the road-line proclaimed : 4 acres 2 roods 32 perches.

Portion of Ngapakihi No. 2 Block, situated in Block VII, Makotuku Survey District.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/813, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of April, 1921.

Revoking the Setting-apart of Land for Selection by Discharged Soldiers, under Ordinary Tenures, in the Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section three of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the seventeenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, and published in the Gazette of the twentieth day of September then instant, setting apart Crown land for selection by discharged soldiers, under the Land Act, 1908, in so far as it relates to the land in the Schedule hereto.
