A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section 33 of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1919, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the areas of land described in the Schedule hereto, and more particularly delineated on the plan referred to in the said Schedule, shall be deemed to have been duly ceded to the Crown by the Native owners thereof pursuant to the provisions of the said section thirty-three.

Land set apart for Selection.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section sixty-three of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913, it is, amongst other things, enacted that in no case shall any moneys be expended under the provisions of the said section sixty-three in connection with any block of land, unless that block is set apart for selection under that section pursuant to Proclamation in that behalf :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of every power and authority enabling me in this behalf, and for the purposes of the aforesaid Act, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land described in the Schedule hereto as set apart for selection.


SCHEDULE.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—TEVIOT BLOCK.

RUNS 603/607 (inclusive), Teviot, Benger, Long Valley, and Lammerlaw Survey Districts : Area, 14,200 acres.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of April, 1921.
