Settlement Land set apart for Disposal by way of Sale or Lease
to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the areas of settlement land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.
SCHEDULES.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—SETTLEMENT LAND.
Ngahape Settlement.
ALL those areas in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement, be the same a little more or less,—
Firstly, 444 acres, being Section 1 in the Ngahape Settlement, and being part Sections 2, 4, and 7c No. 4 situated in Block I, Kaiwhata Survey District, and part Section 1 situated in Block IV, Wainuioru Survey District, Te Maipi Block, Masterton County.
Secondly, 402 acres 2 roods, being Section 2 in the Ngahape Settlement, and being part Sections 2, 3, 4, and 7 No. 4 situated in Block I, Kaiwhata Survey District, and part Section 1 situated in Block XIII, Rewa Survey District, Te Maipi Block, Masterton County.
Thirdly, 450 acres, being Section 3 in the Ngahape Settlement, and being part Sections 3 and 5A situated in Block XIII, Rewa Survey District, and Block I, Kaiwhata Survey District, Te Maipi Block, Masterton County.
Fourthly, 560 acres, being Section 4 in the Ngahape Settlement, and being part Sections 3, 5A, 5B, situated in Block XIII, Rewa Survey District, and Block I, Kaiwhata Survey District, Te Maipi Block, Masterton County.
Fifthly, 535 acres, being Section 5 in the Ngahape Settlement, and being part Sections 3 and 5B situated in Block XIII, Rewa Survey District, and Block I, Kaiwhata Survey District, Te Maipi Block, Masterton County.
Sixthly, 750 acres, being Section 6 in the Ngahape Settlement, and being part Sections 5A, 5B, and 6A situated in Block I, Kaiwhata Survey District, Te Maipi Block, Masterton County.
As the same are more particularly shown on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington as No. 14/21 and thereon bordered red.
Motukai Settlement.
All those areas in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement, be the same a little more or less,—
Firstly, 900 acres, being Section 1 in the Motukai Settlement, and being Section 73 and part Sections 72, 74, 81, 82, 84, 85, and 134 situated in Blocks XII and XVI, Otahoua Survey District, Masterton County.
Secondly, 835 acres, being Section 2 in the Motukai Settlement, and being part Sections 82, 83, 84, 85, 87, 114, 134, and 604 situated in Blocks XII and XVI, Otahoua Survey District, Masterton County.
Thirdly, 1,002 acres, being Section 3 in the Motukai Settlement, and being part Sections 83, 87, 88, 89, 90, 113, 114, 113, and 146 situated in Blocks XIII, Rewa Survey District, and XVI, Otahoua Survey District, Te Maipi Block, Masterton County.
As the same are more particularly shown on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Wellington as No. 13/23, and thereon bordered red.
Paramu Settlement.
All those areas in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 1,191 acres, be the same a little more or less, being Sections 1 and 2 in the Paramu Settlement, and being part Sections 116, 117, 135, 136, 137, 145, 146, and 147 situated in Block XVI, Otahoua Survey District, and Block IV, Wainuioru Survey District, Pahaca Block, Masterton County. As the same are more particularly shown as Lots Nos. 1 and 3 on deposited plan 4629, and thereon bordered green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of April, 1921.
