Proclaiming a Road-line laid out through Portion of Kaitimako Block to be a Public Road.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the parcel of land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Native Land Court made on the eighteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, duly laid out as a road-line, in pursuance of section forty-eight of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913:
And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that in the public interest the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section fifty-one of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913:
And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned, in terms of section fifteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914:
And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road:
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-eight of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the road-line proclaimed: 16 acres 0 roods 32 perches.
Portion of Kaitimako Block, situated in Blocks XIV and XV, Tauranga Survey District.
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 23/624, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 9th day of March, 1921.

Constituting Greymouth Harbour District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on me by section two of the Greymouth Harbour Board Amendment Act, 1920, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby constitute that part of New Zealand described in the Schedule hereto to be a harbour district to be called the “Greymouth Harbour District”; and I do hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one.
SCHEDULE.
GREYMOUTH HARBOUR DISTRICT.
ALL that area contained within the boundaries of the following districts as at present constituted, namely:—
The counties of Inangahua and Grey;
That part of the County of Westland north of the Waiho River;
The boroughs of Brunner, Greymouth, Runanga, Kumara, Hokitika, and Ross;
The Town District of Cobden.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of March, 1921.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water-power (Mangahao scheme); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one.

Proclaiming Native Land to be Crown Land under Section 14 of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land:
And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land set out in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land.
SCHEDULE.
PARIHAKA Nos. 45 and 46, being Subs. 45 and 46 on D.P. 3003, Block XIV, Cape Survey District: Area, 342 acres 1 rood 29 perches.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 23rd day of March, 1921.
