A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the eighth section of the Taranaki Botanic Garden Act, 1876, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
WILLIAM FRANCIS SHORT, Esquire,
to be a member of the Board of Trustees for Public Recreation, in place of William Andrew Collis, Esquire, deceased.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 22nd day of March, 1921.

Crown Land set apart for the Purposes of Part I of the Housing Act, 1919.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section nine of the Housing Act, 1919, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby set apart for the purposes of Part I of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 14 perches, more or less, being originally part of military reserve situate at Point Dorset in Block VII, Port Nicholson Survey District. Bounded, commencing at a point on the north-western boundary of the said military reserve 209·69 links south of the northernmost corner of the said reserve; thence by a line bearing 198° 36′ 30″, being the south-eastern side of Hector Street, 606·06 links; thence by a line bearing 108° 36′ 30″, 303·03 links; thence by a line bearing 18° 36′ 30″, 606·06 links; and thence by a line bearing 288° 36′ 30″, 303·03 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages and bearings a little more or less.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 24th day of March, 1921.

Settlement Land set apart for Disposal by way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the areas of settlement land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.

All those areas in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement, be the same a little more or less,—
Firstly, 149 acres 1 rood, being Section 1 in the Arawhata Settlement, and being Section 23 and part Sections 21, 22, and 11, situated in Block X, Mangahao Survey District, Pahiatua County.
Secondly, 147 acres, being Section 2 in the Arawhata Settlement, and being part Sections 21 and 22 situated in Block X, Mangahao Survey District, Pahiatua County.
