DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between the undersigned, carrying on business as Engineers at Lyttelton under the style or firm of “D. and S. Sinclair,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 15th December last. The business will in future be carried on by DONALD SINCLAIR, who will collect the debts of the Partnership and discharge all liabilities.

MANUKAU COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE.—MANGERE CROSSING WATER-SUPPLY SPECIAL RATING AREA.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Manukau County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Manukau County Council Water-supply Loan of £7,000, 1921, authorized to be raised by the Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of supplying water to portion of the Mangere Riding in the vicinity of the Mangere Crossing, Manukau County, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny and three-eighths of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Mangere Crossing Water Loan Special Rating Area, bounded as follows,—
All that area in the North Auckland District, situated in Blocks V, VI, IX, and X, Otahuhu Survey District, bounded, commencing at the intersection of Massey Road and the North Island Main Trunk Railway, towards the north-east by the said railway forming the south-western boundary of portion of Fairburn’s Grant, shown on plan deposited at the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland Number 1272, to the north-eastern corner of Lot 7, a subdivision of Fairburn’s Grant, and registered at the Deeds Office, Auckland, in Volume R 284, folio 575; towards the south-east by the north-eastern boundary of the Papatoetoe Town District, as described in the New Zealand Gazette Number 39, 1919, to a point 1150 links along the south-eastern boundary of portion of Fairburn’s Grant shown on plan deposited as aforesaid Number 1028A; towards the south-west by a right line 5967·7 links, bearing 115° 30′ 34″, by a right line 1465·1 links, bearing 45° 6′ 18″, to and by a public road forming the north-eastern boundary of Lots 1 and 4 of Allotment 57, Parish of Manurewa, as shown on plan deposited as aforesaid Number 9282, the crossing of a public road, and by the said public road to and by the south-western boundary of Lot 5 of Allotment 67 of the said parish; and towards the west generally by the south-western boundary of Lot 3 of the said Allotment 67, the north-eastern boundaries of the aforesaid Lot 3 and Lot 2, the south-eastern boundary of Allotment 59 of the said parish, the crossing of a public road, by the south-eastern boundaries of Allotments 14 and 16, by the north-eastern boundaries of the said Allotment 16 and Allotment 15B, all of the aforesaid parish, by the Harania Creek, forming the western boundary of Fairburn’s Grant, 190 acres, by the southern and south-eastern boundaries of portion of Fairburn’s Grant, 138 acres, and by the southern boundary of Ecclestone No. 2 Settlement to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
And that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of October during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
