Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for piping in water from Mount Pisa across McFelin’s Gully for the town supply, the said Cromwell Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of fourpence in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Cromwell, comprising the whole of the Borough of Cromwell; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of February and the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

COUNTY OF EGMONT.
RUAKERE ROAD SPECIAL LOAN.—RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Egmont County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £650, authorized to be raised by the Egmont County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of draining, forming, and metalling that portion of the Ruakere Road on the frontages of Subdivisions 1 and 2 of Section 34, Subdivisions 1A, 1B, and 1C of Section 35, all in Block IX, Cape Survey District, the said Egmont County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two and one-eighth pence (2⅛d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the said Ruakere Road Special Rating Area, as described in the Schedule hereunder; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

TAMAHERE ROAD BOARD.
RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Tamahere Road Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a special loan of £33,000 (1920), authorized to be raised by the Tamahere Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of putting down bitumenous-sealed metal on various roads in the Tamahere Road District, the Tamahere Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Tamahere Road District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such special loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WHANGAREI COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.—PIPIWAI SPECIAL LOAN RATING AREA.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Whangarei County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,000, authorized to be raised by the Whangarei County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of formation and construction of a new road from the Hikurangi River new bridge along the Pipiwai Stream towards Block II, Mangakahia Survey District, and known as the Pipiwai Road, the Whangarei County Council makes and levies a special rate of twopence (2d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the said Pipiwai Special Rating Area, comprising all the area within the following lines,——
Commencing at the south-eastern boundary corner of Section No. 2E No. 1 in Block VII, Mangakahia Survey District; thence east and north by the bank of the Hikurangi River to the north-eastern corner of Section No. F; thence west along the northern boundary of No. F, No. 13, No. 14, No. 16, F (302½ acres) to intersection with the eastern line of No. 3 Lot 31 (204 acres); thence south to the southern boundary corner of the said No. 3 Lot 31; thence north and west along the north-eastern boundary of Sections No. 3 Lot 30 (Kaikou), No. 3 Lot 28, No. 3 Lot 27, part of Lot 3 Lot 33, No. 3 Lot 40, to its north-western boundary corner; thence south along the western boundary of the said No. 3 Lot 40, No. 3 Lot 25, to its south-eastern boundary corner; thence west and south along the boundary of the said No. 3 Lot 23 (361 a. 0 r. 22 p.) 9304 Kaikou No. 4, to its most southerly boundary corner where it intersects with the Whangaiti Stream; thence north-east along the south-eastern boundary of the said Kaikou No. 4 to where it forms an angle in the Mangaroa Block; thence south-east along the southern boundary of the Mangaroa Block to its most southerly boundary corner in Block VII; thence north along the eastern boundary of the Mangaroa Block to its intersection with the Pipiwai Stream; thence east by the said stream to the north-western boundary corner of Lot No. 2E No. 1; thence south along the western boundary of the said Lot No. 2E No. 1; thence east along the southern boundary of the said Lot No. 2E No. 1 to its south-eastern boundary corner, being the point of commencement.
That such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Waipa County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Waipa County Council Roadmaking Plant Loan, of £12,000, 1921, authorized to be raised by the Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of purchasing roadmaking plant, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one twenty-third of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the County of Waipa; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by subsection (b) of section 16 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and subsection (10) of section 41 of the Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Opotiki Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Opotiki Borough Council Hospital and Charitable Aid Board’s Contribution Loan of £535, 1920, authorized to be raised by the Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of paying the Council’s share of capital expenditure of the Bay of Plenty Hospital and Charitable Aid Board, as certified to by the Secretary to the said Board, as required by subsection (10) of section 41 of the Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909, under date the 10th day of August, 1920, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fourteenth of a penny (1/14d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Opotiki; and that such special rate shall
