SCHEDULE.
BOUNDARIES OF TOKOMARU RIDING, WAITOTARA COUNTY.
All that area of the Waitotara County bounded towards the west, north, and east by the county boundaries from Trig. Station Pakira to the southern boundary of the Tauwhare Block in Waipakura Survey District, and towards the south by that boundary to the Kaiiwi Stream; thence by that stream and the Mangaone Stream to Small Grazing-run 27, and by the western boundaries of Runs 27 and 26 to Trig. Station Aramaire; thence along the summit of the range to Pakira Trig. Station, the point of commencement.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of March, 1921.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Council of the Borough of Ashburton and the Board of the Town District of Hampstead, by petitions under the respective common seals of the Corporation of such borough and the Board of such town district, as provided by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, as amended by the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1915, have prayed the Governor-General that such borough and town district (forming one continuous area) be constituted one united borough:
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance of the powers vested in me by the said Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1915, do hereby proclaim that the said Borough of Ashburton and the said Town District of Hampstead are hereby constituted one united borough by the name of the Borough of Ashburton, and also that the boundaries of the said borough so constituted and named shall be those set forth in the Schedule hereto.
And I do also proclaim that the said borough shall be an undivided borough, and that the number of Councillors to be elected to the Council thereof shall be eleven, exclusive of Mayor.
And I do hereby appoint Alfred McClure (the Town Clerk to the existing Borough of Ashburton) to be the Town Clerk temporarily of the said united borough; and I do hereby appoint Alfred McClure (the Returning Officer to the said existing borough) to be the Returning Officer temporarily to the said united borough.
And I do also proclaim and declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one.
SCHEDULE.
ASHBURTON BOROUGH.
All that area in the Canterbury Land District bounded by a line commencing at the junction of roads at the westernmost corner of Rural Section 4906, along the south-western boundary of that section and its production to the south-eastern side of East Street, along that side of the said East Street to the south-western side of the road along the north-eastern boundary of Reserve 2471; thence along that side of said road and its continuation past Reserves 2644, 1261, 3446, 1120, Rural Sections 14370 and 15470, to the easternmost corner of the last-named section; thence along the north-western side of the road forming the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 15470, 15999, Reserve 1415, Sections 13705, 10350, and Reserve 1119 to the Wakanui Road; thence along the north-eastern side of that road to a point in line with the south-eastern side of Trevors Road; thence to and along that side of said Trevors Road to the left bank of the Ashburton River; thence north-westerly along said left bank to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Rural Section 4905; thence to and along that boundary of said section and a right line to the westernmost corner of Rural Section 4906, the point of commencement.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 4th day of March, 1921.

Constituting the Borough of Morrinsville, County of Piako.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of section thirteen of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1913, a petition was presented to the Governor-General, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto be constituted a new borough: And whereas the provisions of the said section thirteen have been complied with in respect thereto, and the result of the poll taken on the proposal contained in the said petition was in favour thereof:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, as amended by the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1913, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the area described in the Schedule hereto shall be constituted a borough under the said Acts on and from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one; that the name of such borough shall be the Borough of Morrinsville; that the said borough shall be an undivided borough; and that the number of Councillors to be elected thereto shall be six, exclusive of the Mayor.
And I do further proclaim and declare that John Stevens Reid, of Morrinsville, shall be the Returning Officer to conduct the first election of Mayor and Councillors of the said borough; and that the said John Stevens Reid shall be the Town Clerk and the person to prepare the district electors roll for the purposes of the said first election.
And, lastly, I do proclaim and declare that the first election of Mayor and Councillors of the said borough shall be held on Wednesday, the twenty-seventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one; and that the first meeting of the Council of the said borough shall be held on Monday, the second day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, at half past seven o'clock in the afternoon, at the Town Board Office, Morrinsville.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at the southernmost corner of Subdivision 4 of Motumaoho No. 2 Block; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of the said Subdivision 4 about 37 chains to the northernmost corner of part of Subdivision 19 of the said Motumaoho No. 2 Block, and south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of the said part of Subdivision 19 to the westernmost corner of Allotment 39 on plan No. 7150, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland; thence along the north-western boundary of that allotment, across David Street, along the north-western boundaries of Allotments 40 and 41, across Bank Street, along the north-western boundaries of Allotments 42 and 43, across George Street, and along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Allotment 44 on plan No. 7150 aforesaid; along the north-western boundaries of Allotments 45 and 47 on plan No. 7445, deposited as aforesaid, and along the north-eastern boundary of the last-mentioned allotment to and across Coronation Street, and along its south-eastern side to Allotment 48; along the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of that allotment and the south-eastern boundary of Allotment 46 on plan No. 7445 aforesaid, and along the north-eastern boundaries of Allotments 7 and 6 on plan No. 7150 aforesaid to the easternmost corner of the last-mentioned allotment; thence along the north-eastern boundary of part of Subdivision 19 of Motumaoho No. 2 Block to the westernmost corner of Subdivision 23; thence along the north-western boundaries of Subdivisions 23 and 22 to the northernmost corner of Subdivision 22, along the south-western boundary of Subdivision 21, and along the north-western side of the road forming the south-eastern boundary of that subdivision to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Subdivision 24, Motumaoho No. 2 Block, across the road, and along the south-western boundary of the said Subdivision 24, across the railway reserve, and along the south-eastern side of that reserve to the Piako River; thence south-westerly along the left bank of that river and the Toperahae and Waitakaruru Streams to the road forming the south-western boundary of Subdivision 28, Motumaoho No. 2 Block, along the north-eastern side of that road, across the railway, and along the continuation of the said road and the road forming the south-western boundary of Subdivision 10 to Subdivision 7 of the said Motumaoho No. 2 Block; along the south-eastern boundary of the last-mentioned subdivision to its easternmost corner, and along the north-eastern boundary of that subdivision to the southernmost corner of Subdivision 4, the place of commencement.
