Additional Land at Carterton taken for the Purposes of the Wellington-Napier Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Wellington-Napier Railway to take further land at Carterton, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 29·8 perches.
Portion of Section 208, Taratahi Plain Block, Block X, Tiffin Survey District, Borough of Carterton. (S.O. 1595.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 28457, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of February, 1921.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the Wellington-Napier Railway to take further land at Napier, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

Situated in Borough of Napier. (S.O. 556, green.)
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 25468, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured brown, yellow, and blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 19th day of February, 1921.

Declaring a certain Area added to the Waitotara County to be included in the Tokomaru Riding of such County.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the third day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the third day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, the boundaries of the Waitotara and Patea Counties were altered by the inclusion in Waitotara County of a part of the Patea County: And whereas it is desirable that the area so added to the Waitotara County should be included in the Tokomaru Riding of that county:

Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section twenty-two of the Counties Act, 1908, do hereby declare that the area included as aforesaid in the Waitotara County shall, as on and from the second day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, be included in the Tokomaru Riding of the said county, and that the boundaries of such riding shall be those set forth in the Schedule hereto.
